Flash reportedly lost a lot of practice games to EffOrt in preparation for the power outage MSL, EffOrt's just lost a lot of ZvT to cheese recently but Flash rarely cheeses.

Or is it just stuff that's passed by word of mouth?

Also completely unfair for Shine to repeat the game as he had an advantage before the mutalisk battle too since he had a huge gas advantage and way more mutalisks than Effort.
The only way you can think its the right decision is if you're a Effort, CJ fanboy, or hate Shine's guts.
If Effort's mouse had completely break down, then he most likely he experienced intermittent failure for a while. His choice of timing can be easily explained by unwinding from the heat of the battle and realizing that his loss was influenced by his failing equipment and that he has a choice to do something about it. He may have a 500 apm in starcraft because he practice all day long, but his higher cognitive functions may be quite slower than that, especially on top of a 500 apm battle fest.

Eventhough Kal is 0-4 against Zero, I think he can make to the finals easy. On the other end there is Baby, Movie and Pure vs. Flash. I'll be hoping for Movie to make it through, but it's doubtful. Kal in the finals seems fair considering how good of a player he is overall.

I dunno, I think Zero is a terrible matchup for Kal. Not only is Zero's ZvP good but it's very different.

LOL so didn't expect that... EffOrt just couldn't throw enough matches this time around...

Given the result shown tonight. I think OSL might change this round robin format...

Haha I just read the "LR" from page 80 to the end of the games, hilarious

Damn it, the two remaining zergs have to knock each other out already.

This thread is long enough that it's more than double most of the other LR threads on TL. Hell, it even approaches the number of replies in the Winner's League finals LR thread. At least none of the games were TvT.
So much rage in this thread...

Looking at the results...
Just how long did this whole thing go lol

If anyone is gonna stop Flash it's gonna be Baby. I simply don't think he can lose a Bo5 to anyone left in the tournament, it might happen in a Bo3 though if he gets unlucky somehow. So Baby is the last obstacle before he gets his Golden Mouse as far as I'm concerned.

HAHA EFFORT LOLOL Holy shit 13 games though. Gotta suck to be a commentator for the night.

They got weaker and weaker as time went along. No break.
Pure must've been backstage asking people to get him food.

ForGG not going to beat Kal in split Bo3 imo. Needed the Bo5
