Ret was the only person I would give much of a chance against IdrA in a straight up series. With this....well, Nony is the only person that has much of a chance against him. If he demolishes Nony (which he probably will), then there will be nothing to stop him from taking it all. Props to Sen, but this is still quite unfortunate. Actually, I think Sen has a great chance against Idra as well

Everyone knew Ret trained his mutomicro very very hard while he stayed in korea. Sen simply switched the battlefield to zerglings, simply brilliant. While i'm sad for ret, this was a deserved win for Sen. Indeed, sen pushed the game towards the arena where he had the advantage, playing smart, not 'cheesy'. Plus ret could have defended if he didn't dronewhore so much, skimp on ling speed, and used his lings more tactically.

Or PJ, but PJ doesnt really count since that guy is pretty much top B-teamer level, he almost beat both Bisu/Stork a couple of months ago and he beat Savior in his prime in 2007. Pj is a fucking beast.

Yup, F91 won by doing "nothing" aka. he didn't do robotic korean builds so IdrA lost. Sen in the other hand is a more safe style zerg as far as I know so IdrA is more of a favorite against him.

And that's not because THIS series was "cheese", but because sen is flexible and adapts.

Sen's always been a pretty aggressive player, I don't know if I would classify him as "safe".
