If he were to make the transition, he'd most certainly get overrun by Zero's muta balls. Zero probably did have the resources, but he probably did not feel it was necessary because he was ahead in muta count and upgrades (i.e. his finished earlier) the entire game. All he had to do was match JD's production and he would have the game. And that's exactly what he did. | ||

It is not a matter of how huge a difference it is in mutalisks. What matters is what you get out of your investment. Ensnare slows unit rate fire down by 18%. Given mathmatical fractions, it is probably around 2/11 or 1/6. Anyways, that means mutalisks rate of fire is down to 4/5 of it original rate if we round up to 20%, just ot make things easy. That means, if you are planning on using ensnare only once, which given the time it takes to recharge, you will only have time to use it once, ensnare has to catch at least 15 mutalisks to you 12 to make everything even out. If the numbers go up, for example, you get 24 mutalisks, (2 control groups) while you fight with 21 mutas, then you have the advantage. Of course, that is why it is a good idea not to clump your mutas at that point in battle. As long as you do that, you are ensnare saef, which is what I think we saw in JD vs Zero. | ||
