Stork man Stork, I don't blame ya for losing, but man winning would be so much better for everybody. It's impossible to have a final with two big names but I personally think Flash vs Shine would be fun to watch.
Why?
All Shine has shown the ability to do in any matchup is Mutalisk control and massing hydras...both of which are very unlikely to work against Flash.
Calm has a MUCH higher chance of beating Flash than Shine does. Shine won't be able to mutalisk his way to victory against Flash.

Also, Jaedong's loss was pathetic. 12 hatch isn't standard on HBR -- it's a one player map with a lot of cheesing potential. AND he's down a game in the series? 12 hatch was a huge risk that didn't pay off.
Uh what? It could easily be TvP.

god stork..
well flash TIME TO COLLECT

Blah when its not hydra busts its imba mutas QQ
Stork you are still way more pimp than him.

I would laugh so hard if Calm got another zvz finals win.

:O Shine is the new legend killer. movie is still ballin. and jd will take the msl and calm is showing his champion form.

This OSL is actually pretty awesome with two people to cheer for still in the RO4. Too bad stork is out. Go movie and flash!

WTF shine again?
Do we have to see the most one-sided stomp by Flash to Shine in the final?
|
No...I want Stork vs Flash @ the Finals!!! Blew it!!!!!!

Flash 2-3 Movie finals please

He has shown consistently good play against the hardest run in the OSL that any player has had to face. It is your favorite player's fault for not adjusting to his aggressive style and losing.
definitely agreed, shine played really well in all 3 games against stork crybabies whine moar
Yeah he played really well in game 2. Did nothing until his attempt at hydra bust, showed up when Stork already had reavers AND templars, then went ahead and tried to drop anyway only to get his forces completely slaughtered at the cost of like 2 zealots and a temp for stork.
Then he continued to spam hydras and tried to shove them up a tiny ramp at a cannoned base with goons/HTs. It took him so long to try to push his mass hydras through a few scattered zeals and cannons that Stork could crawl his reavers all the way from nat to defend his third.
After that he spammed lurkers then defilers then died.
Shine's not a bad player. He's got very good control. But that's really all it takes nowadays to win ZvP. Stork is right. Protoss need to step up their game and play more intelligently. But if you think it's anywhere near equal skill/effort for the P to beat Z... well, then you probably shouldn't be calling others idiot >.>

Flash prepared a brilliant strategy and executed it perfectly. It wasn't TvZ imba, and it wasn't Flash stealing Christmas; the preparation alone was Starcraft at the highest level. And contrary to the myth, Jaedong doesn't automatically win BO3s or BO5s against the odds by magically activating death stare mode. If he wins, he does it because he's the better player, or better prepared than his opponent. Flash is playing much better than Jaedong right now and would've been the favorite to win both a lategame in game 2 and an eventual game 3.
Also, Shine deserves some love. Maybe he "can't win from a disadvantage", but if that's so, then given his recent record, he's certainly good at putting himself in advantageous positions. And that's certainly a very useful talent toi have. His games have been very entertaining. Movie vs Shine should be a great matchup. Yeah it was a great build by Flash where he builds a barracks at 8 and is perfectly safe against anything but a 4pool but wins against 12-hatch outright with no risk against 9pool or anything of the sort. How did he come up with such a creative and amazing build? Not to mention the fact that he's going to always get a free overlord as long as the Zerg isn't going for anything faster than a 9pool. About Shine, yeah man he got this OSL no prob.
Yeah. This build is SO easy to come up with and still Jaedong is such a RETARD that he can't figure out what to do against it? You just sound like a fangirl crying right now.

If Flash's build is so imba, why isn't it used more often?

SHINE!
This kid has promise. Is he a little cheesy? Yes. But so was Flash when he first broke onto the scene. It takes time for a player to find his own style. As far as the hate goes, well the Stork fans have no one to blame but Stork himself. If Shine's play is so one-dimensional, then doesn't the burden fall on Stork to be able to beat it?
Also, I would like to point out that the amount of anti-Shine nerdrage in this thread far exceeds that in the OSL Ro16 Group A/B thread (when Bisu and Shine played). What's this about Bisu fans being unreasonable idiots?

YES FLASH! this is Flash's OSL definitely.

The worst thing is the possibillity of another zvz osl final.
atleast the semi finals looks HAWT!
and... 4/4 LIQUIBET AND FIRST PLACE TO ME!!!! HELL YEAH!
Edit: Fantasy cheesed Jaedong in the Proleague grand finals, JD fans cried cus it owned his 2 hatch muta strat. That was a pretty neutral face off according to flame wars (only oz vs skt1 fans rest were just cheering for their favourite player of the 2)
Jaedong cheesed fantasy in the osl semifinals and JD got applaused by brilliance for 4 pooling and still winning with the initial attack failed. (Yup, THAT was brilliance). But then the next game Jaedong went 9pool speed because he knew that he had a 2/3 chance for fantasy to get the spot JD needed. And instead of raging against JD everybody blamed fantasy for not adjusting his play. (and even blamed fantasy for not predicting something like that... Why should he? Jaedong hadn't done 9pool speed for so long time that he didnt consider it a possibillity but people ignored it).
And now that flash does a strategy vs JD which tranfers to JD vs Fantasy on Rotk. And now everybody rages because JD has more fans than flash.
Even moreso with Shine winning cus he makes aggressive strategys. I say shine is July vol. 2. Aggressive player with good zvp. He wouldve been loved and hyped about like Skyhigh or Movie if he didn't start out by knocking out SKt1 from the OSL and now Stork.
The hate against Shine is unjustified. Look at him as July vol 2 (aggressive with proven good zvp as I said before).
But if you insist on flaming Shine which for me is my new favorite Wemade player. Anyways I probally wouldnt like him if he beat flash first but leave that to another time, I doubt that I would be blind @ him playing good =)
