He has the MSL to prepare for - he had to play against By.Hero in 4 days to try and get into the Ro8. MBC currently is showing quite a bit of strength and depth with Sea playing like the King of Proleague again, Hyun stepping it up and winning against some extremely good players such as Calm, Stork, and Flash, and the others members showing that they can take a game off most team's weaker players with some solid play. So Light doesn't actually have to play since it won't really put their team into major strife. Compare this to Oz or Stars, who will likely lose 3-0 or 3-1 without their star player. Doesn't explain why Flash is playing considering how well KT is playing thus far, though I guess the kid wants to get the most proleague wins or something.

Now that his opponents know how to counter his strategies, he is not good as he was once held up to be. The great players are those that can adapt throughout the changes in Starcraft strategies, Fantasy is not one of them. In a recent interview, his M&M play has been called abysmal. Though no Jaedong, Effort has to carry his team in ace. In zvz, its hard to fault him for those lost due to the rock, paper, scissors of the matchup. Unlike Fantasy, Effort has been consistent for the players they are.

It takes time to solve whats wrong and figure out a solution. I hate people who use 1-2 weeks of results to call a player good or bad.
