Yeah the major issue with your "Fantasy owned an MSL winner" is that Calm won his MSL through playing only ZvZs. The only games he played against another race was against Terran (three games): one game against the infamous Sea and two against ForGG. If you are a halfway decent zerg, you should be winning against these two considering how bad ForGG is right now and how badly Sea always does in individual leagues. Recent games are showing that Calm isn't anywhere near the level Jaedong or Effort are in all three respective matchups and those two are the guys that should be winning the MSLs and OSLs. His MSL games against Best and Light were bad and his OSL ZvT against Fantasy was even worse. He could possibly be slumping or maybe he, like Casy, got on a lucky one matchup road to stardom. Which brings me back to my point. OGN zergs generally know how to deal with terrans as seen with Type B's MSL game against Fantasy and Hogil's OSL games against Flash and Mind. There should be no surprise that they can win against a terran save perhaps Flash considering how hard he's rolling everyone right now. | ||
