While we are at it - I'm finding dealing with 2 gate expand in pvp a bit hard and I can't find any pro game 2 gate expand vs 1 gate core (again probably for a good reason). The only thing that works for me is 3 zealot before goon (sometimes) battery into all in 3 gate goon reaver. Is that what I'm supposed to do or is there a better way to handle it?
Crazy zero ZvP? And a question about 2 gate exp pv

Zerg takes another main base and camps up with thousand sunks and sim city till ultras I have trouble with this too but i think the main thing is to get air dominance with corsairs and do things like storm drops (possibly reaver drops too). While also expanding yourself with some cannons and zealots to defend.

You bust the wall at either the main or the second nat with the Dragoons before the Zerg is at Hive tech (and they should have a low army count), then you follow up with pure Zealot/HT to address the army that Zerg will desperately try to pump out. Back in the day this used to be accompanied with Lurkers sometimes, so moving out with your first Observer is a decent timing, though can be skipped if you don't think there will be any I guess. It's pretty all-in but it can outright win the game if you bust one of the bases and expand to a 3rd around that time. An interesting idea would be to continue Sair production and just stifling their Overlords/forcing AA/forcing army production to slow them down. Adding in DT/Speed Zeal drops to snipe tech in their main could help. So could storm drops. An even more interesting approach could be using Disruption Web and/or Reavers to bust the front. Having one or two Reavers alone is sure to disrupt their plans and force some panic from them. --- In PvP vs. 2 Gate FE you can go proxy Robo with Reaver crawling to bust the Cannons faster than any timing they would expect. You could also just take an expansion of your own and make up the lost eco time by not investing so heavily in Cannons + being ahead in tech. You could skip Reaver altogether and go straight into Templar tech. A fun approach is to go speed Shuttle Reaver to harass the hell out of their eco before they have range upgrade on their Dragoons. EDIT: Assuming that 2G FE is the 5 Zealot + Cannons variant.

Why not just do that opening yourself and see what you lose to?

1. The elephant is the king of the jungle. When a zerg shows up with 12 ultras, the protoss says well played sir, I surrender. 2. So this was Jaedong's strategy against some protoss (i forget who). He turtled and just went ultras. 3. Jaedong: hello! I have 12 elephants, please surrender. 4. Toss: I build a time machine. 5. Jaedong: ?????? 6. Toss: I build a time machine and import 20 t-rexes. In essence, a 5-gas protoss can build so many archons that the ultras just melt. Moral of the story, get lots of gas, and reavers. Archon reaver in large numbers is a basically unstoppable ground comp for protoss in pvz.
