Also if your micro/multitask is good you can be relatively safe with Barracks Gas Fac and adjust it to the race you're playing against after scout, because you can then play 1-1-1 against Zerg and have standard vP vT without needing to defend a Rax FE. | ||

protoss is the race that struggles the most with random specifically because 1 gate tech is pretty weak (and making a single gateway in your natural is pretty horrible pvp). I mean it's not like it's unplayable, you can do sair into dt into exp or zealot into templar into exp or a pretty decent goon reaver attack and it can all work.. but it's significantly weaker than gate exp or forge exp overall. However I'm not even sure if 1-1-1 is a weaker build than +1 5 rax is for tvz in general. | ||
