The lighting set up makes it a waste of time for me to even go. I'm glad they've come to OGN on days I've been working recently - getting to shoot Reach/YellOw was awesome. Not only that, the MBC side is sooooooooooooooooo small compared to the Yongsan stadium. Urgh, too puny and crammed.

Yeah - the right side of the stage is a pain in the arse to photograph as well because it's blocked by the right-side booth camera. It's basically a terrible layout and I refuse to go there. The press room is admittedly massive compared to that of OGN, but I don't use either recently so it doesn't really matter to me. I could rant on all day about the problems with the MBC studio.

I remember before the current design, the old one was the one with both players in the same room and two glass doors for each side. Was that in the same building?

You can see that the front few rows are shorter than the back because of the walls and TV... bad designing. I remember before the current design, the old one was the one with both players in the same room and two glass doors for each side. Was that in the same building? No - the first one was at COEX mall in Samsung - it was absolutely tiny and suffered from it's own problems photography wise (basically those tiny corridored areas down each side between the glass fronted booth in which the players sat and the benches.) However, it was excellently lit and the seats were more comfortable (although there were only about 10 rows of them.) The main problem with LOOX is those two collumns that hold the pointless mini tv screens - they block the view, block the right-side stage and make the whole place feel way more crowded than it should do. They also mean the seating arrangement is way too condensed. In comparison Yongsan's OGN studio is big, well-lit and has a large amount of seats plus a wide area at the back which means the press can have their own cordoned off section that makes it so much easier to travel from one side to the other (I love working in there at every event.) Also it's in a much more central location with a big mall (LOOX mall is tiny and deserted.) so it's easy to go and get food/buy things between events. It makes the nine hour shifts I do on Sundays for Proleague and DF League much easier and more fun. The only upside of LOOX is the training room locations (although you can't go in if you're a normal fan of course.) and the fact that the booths are not on a higher level stage (none of us journalists are allowed onto the stage - not even fomos/fifo etc.) However, the terrible lighting at LOOX means even getting so close to the booths does not provide good photos.

I looked at the stadium and I went like, "how on earth can you find a seat with a good view for shots? =.=" " Yongsan studio just gives off that air of grandeur.

Well I don't sit down in the audience (I haven't done that since January.) but for the Korean fans it is a really bad place for photos. It's also a terrible location for fan meetings after the games because there is literally nowhere to sit. KTF took their Summer meetings down to a lovely little courtyard at the front of the mall though which was pretty good ![]() @anch - Yes, I'm going to photograph them today. If they will I will ask for a shoot and photograph their fan meeting.

You're probably not gonna get enough to cover the full $200 but at least like $50 And people will definately do it if you promise them good pictures of their favorite players lmao That is definitely tempting at times - even normal proleague can cost me around $40 per day if I let it hahaha.
