Sorry, i don't want to insult you, but such comments speak of a lack of intelligence. since when people type with a MONITOR???? You type with a KEYBOARD and ur FINGERS. Nothing else. 95% of the people don't even need EYES to type! They press the buttons on the KEYBOARD with their FINGERS. Even the 5% rest of the people don't need a MONITOR either because they use the EYES to see how often they press which buttons. The most "unskilled" writers can stare at their KEYBOARD and COUNT how often they press a button. still no MONITOR needed at all. To the people who say "spellcheck": .....omg. you know the average reaction time of a human is about 1 second? So do you really think leta types ONE LETTER PER SECOND???? Ofc you type faster than that and you cannot spellcheck every letter before you press the next button, which includes the ENTER BUTTON ! It's almost not possible to stop pressing the enter button when you realize you have pressed one "p" too much. The MONITOR DOESNT MATTER AT ALL !!!!! Thats why you often see "i go to shcool" "*school". Because the message is already sent when you realize you fucked up a word, if its the last word in a sentence. And in Leta's case it even was the last LETTER of his message ! I really don't understand what you're trying to say. It's not like the fact that he didn't need to see to type changes anything. Well, what most people are saying is that Leta thought he typed "ppp" and since he couldn't see his monitor there was no way for him to know that one of the "p"s didn't go through. | ||

This coupled with your random as hell caps lock activations have brought the conclusion of the general consensus to the fact that you are an idiot. Rules are rules only goes so far when it very well could've decided the fate of the PL round which could, conceivably, decide even more in the future, all because Leta forgot a p? Does Kespa understand how *fast* these guys punch in a couple keys and how impossible it is to respond to only hitting p twice and then hitting enter? (anyone with even nominal typing speed does that in a split second) Much less if it was a huge problem with his visuals and he was literally falling way behind in the game because he couldn't tell what he was doing. Any backlash Kespa gets from this is deserved. It's a poor decision from an organization that barely has to decide anything on a match to match basis as it is. The only times they do, they do so horribly. Things like this and arbitrarily discouraging other tournaments is the kind of stuff that harms esports in the long run. | ||

I'm totally not an anti-fanboy. Leta is actually really one of my favorite players. believe it or not. Ofc this decision is totally stupid, and i know the issue is that they should make an exception because it basically means the same as "ppp" and can't be confused with another msg. Don't assume things that make me stupid please. I posted that because there are so many stupid comments and the issue is rather obvious here and stated many times before in the thread(without stupid lies with it) so i didn't need to repeat that i think. My post only addresses to the wrong comments in this thread. And don't say i derail the thread because of that or w/e because the OP's issue is discussed and "solved" already like i said. My caps are on the important words in my post like "monitor" and "keyboard" so that they stand out more to clarify my msg. | ||

Anyone who knows anything about SC will know that you cannot just sit there doing nothing for 20 seconds and not suffer massive advantage. Even 5 seconds will cost you. Leta doesn't have the luxury of just sitting there and type "P"'s all day. In that kind of situation, the goal is to get the game paused as soon as possible because otherwise, you're fucked even if they don't DQ you. I can understand enforcing the GG rule strictly in that case because that would be enforcing good sportsmanship and the match is decided already. Obviously, the same cannot be said about PP, which must be typed in the middle of a heated match. | ||
