I dunno about that, I'd put him at 3rd.

Look at that guy. He's a killer, man. I wish he would actually win a game once in a while.
Nice photos as always.

It was definitely a split lip - It might just have been from the cold though because it's freezing here and the wind tends to attack your mouth if you're not careful.

I explained in the OP why the color is off - I don't have $600 to buy photoshop ;_; I actually don't like this set much. I think my last batch of Boxer and Savior photos were much nicer. However, for a shoot done when my head was killing me it came out okay.

I didn't see the boxer/savior sets, but as far as generic portraits go, this is by far the best set I've seen from you.

Hahaha - it'll be a long time coming, but if he doesn't retire I'll make sure to snag him and his ultimate manliness when he returns. I never did manage to get a photoshoot with him before he left (or anytime ;_;) I'm so glad I got Xellos, Cloud and Gorush before they went to ACE.

Because it was freezing!
@Meathook - thanks, I'm working to improve my style and practice more classic photos in the run up to getting my new camera. If you've got any suggestions for those alternatives I'd love to hear them - I'm so used to using CS3/4 it's been hard to find anything I can adapt to.

I was mainly thinking about Gimpshop (because regular Gimp is hard to learn if you are accustomed to PS already):
GIMPshop is a modification of the free/open source GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP), intended to replicate the feel of Adobe Photoshop. Its primary purpose is to make users of Photoshop feel comfortable using GIMP.
It shares all GIMP's advantages, including the long feature list and customisability, while addressing some common criticisms regarding the program's interface: GIMPshop modifies the menu structure to closely match Photoshop's, adjusts the program's terminology to match Adobe's, and, in the Windows version, uses a plugin called 'Deweirdifier' to combine the application's numerous windows in a similar manner to the MDI system used by most Windows graphics packages. While GIMPshop does not support Photoshop plugins, all GIMP's own plugins, filters, brushes, etc. remain available.
There is also Cinepaint and some others if you google.. but Gimp and Cinepaint are the main ones.

Thanks for the advice - I'm going to try out Gimpshop this week. I can't do without a photo editing tool right now so *fingers crossed*
