Most definitely, there are a ton of foreign players at b/b- level who i think would struggle at c-/c if they played during hours of high korean activity

This is a fucking ridicolous amount of depth that is unheard of in any other game. With the amount of practice that those NamE clan guys get they could easily be among the best in the world at any other video game. (For comparison: Famous/top FPS gamer Fatal1ty says he practices about 2-4 hours a day), but instead they just get raped by b-team members who are even better.

Also, Artosis' 'annyeong haseyo's are awesome :D I love the start of the clip where it looks like a scene straight from a thriller. Dodgy looking guy with a tea-cosy talking to a camera.. check....dark underground parking lot...check... black van with people shuffling in and out of it... check... smoking, brooding leader figure in background...

Korean parents giving money for their kid to play games all day with a slim chance of joining a pro team (and then an even slimmer chance of getting to the A team and anywhere from there) is unfathomable for me. You raise a good point, I guess they are occupied 11/24 hrs. I was thinking $240/month to play SC!!! That is an unbeatable deal!! But I guess if you have no time to work then it would either be up to the parents or you would take out a loan.

By the way is the $240 to live there as well, or is it just to play there? You pay to live there. Otherwise, you can just go to a PC bang instead of paying $240 a month just to play online.
