the living conditions for a progamer or pro team trainee are pretty fucking different than what most any westerner is used to. doesnt really matter that its voluntary, its still different.

i think you're confused about the definition of culture it doesnt have to be a country or anything, just a group of people with a specific set of characteristics and behaviors and stuff like progamers/progaming

It's not like he's playing WoW or something. He's actually doing something that requires focus and stamina.

You can have a culture shock by going from a christian HS to a party college, or from a crappy HS to a academically rigorous and cutthroat college, and be faced with a "culture shock".

What, because the gamer actually has to change from being a lazy nerd playing all day obbing games relaxed doing whatever they want to playing all day hardcore to get good? Sorry to burst your bubble kids but it's not culture shock it's called hard fucking work. This is a super competitive 'sport' and if you want to get anywhere of course you have to work hard. Most gamers have never done any hard work in their lives and are lazy pathetic nerds so I guess I can see them being 'shocked' and crying about it as if it's not their fault and something they can't help. I mean no fucking shit sherlocks? Lmao. edit: absolute language barrier.....lol...........................LOL
