This is an interview of the Legend of the Fall 'Sashin' Anytime conducted by korean commentator Kim Tae Kyong and TheMarine. This is the last tv interview they did and unfortunately this is pretty old
However have fun reading it, its about ANytime's future, Lecaf oz's Jaedong, ForGG and the truth of BackHo
NOTE: THIS INTERVIEW HAS BEEN CONDUCTED BEFORE STORK WON THE OSL (Couple days before OSL Stork vs Sea to be exact)

-Well the great Legend of the Fall Sashin have finally been accepted to Airforce Ace. Can I ask you why you did this at such an early age?
Well to be honest with you, I think it was a great decision. As a Korean male I had to do it anyways and well, why not?
-Yes it is true. It is really sad that you are leaving the Lecaf Oz team though. You were the pillar which kept the team alive at it's start
I am sad I am going to leave lecaf too. But it is okay they're doing okay with ForGG and Jaedong
-So... Did you know ever since you won the OSL, no protoss won?
Yeah I don't understand that. It really confuses me why a protoss can't win an OSL
-What do you think about it?
I think the current protoss players don't think and play properly. They shouldn't be stingy about learning veteran protoss player's strats.
-Anyways do you think you can perform great in Ace?
Yes. I think I can do better than what I'm doing currently

Yeah I know. But the thing is I dissapointed so many fans of mine and got called out so many times that I have to pick up the pace. To be honest with you I really wanted to quit gaming all together

Yes... During my time in lecaf I almost had 0 break times. I kept overworking myself over and over until I came to a breaking point. I just couldn't handle it anymore.
-Did you ask your coach to extend your break time?
Yes, and he gladly accepted my proposal. But during my long break I would see my juniors practice all day. Whenever I see them practice and play live games I always think to myself "damn I can do better" or "if I was back in my prime, he would be my bitch." And I just wanted to play again. I wanted to regain my status as the great protoss player.

-So Lecaf has 3 big players, Jaedong ForGG and Backho
Jaedong has always been the bright star. During is rookie days he was my bitch but after a while, I started losing constantly. ForGG on the otherhand was the quiet one. He was always quiet in the practice house; never spoke more than 3 words. And since Jaedong is also a very quiet guy whenever ForGG and Jaedong are together it gets awkward

Oh and one time, our coach was like "lol did you guys have a fight or something?" jaedong would laugh "HA HA HA" and ForGG would blush up
-Well there was that MSL with Jaedong vs ForGG
Its one of my favorites to be honest. ForGG was VERY jealous of Jaedong taking all the leagues, not to mention even in practice Jaedong would win everything. But then now we see ForGG taking everything away in 1 league. I bet he was so happy he stuck it into Jaedong's face
-So enough of the Lecaf Terran Zerg line, lets talk about the Protoss line

-Yes that would be great
Honestly, our protoss line is not good.
-Why so?
They refuse to learn the old ways. They are too mechanical. They shouldn't rely on their mechanics too much to win the game (he kinda hints that backho's mechanics arent too good to rely on)
-Oh go on.
Backho, for example is a player who is always in my shadows. Its a real pity because I really like the kid. But the damn kid won't listen to me. He is a great player but because of the trend of new protoss players he eventually screws it all up. He doesn't know what "Timing" means
-I agree, alot of protoss players are too 'small minded (소심, if there is a better word in english please tell)' about the timing windows. They get too sensitive about it
Yes and hes so stingy about his own style. Wish he would listen to me more 
-Wow seems like you had high hopes for Backho
Even when Backho was taking my spot and I was losing 6 games in a row, NO PROTOSS IN LECAF BEAT ME. I mean I didn't practice for a couple of months. If there is one matchup I actually care about, it is PvP. In PvP I believe even Stork will have a hard time taking a game from me even if we play right now. Backho and every other lecaf protoss have NEVER taken a game from me. This frustrates me but at the same time makes me happy.
-What if you meet Lecaf during proleagues?
I would hate to fight jaedong, but if I meet Backho I will beat his ass. I even told him "You better practice if you want to beat me in a live match"

And he's right. A lot of the newer protoss's are too mechanical and don't know timings or how to play the metagame. Very important for toss players

I take it Anytime wasn't exactly happy with Lecaf, and is letting loose all the dirt on them now that he's not on the team anymore.
Good to see that we're not the only ones who think Backho sucks. I like how much the interview pretty much confirms that analysis someone did of Backho's play and personal style a few months ago.

I know, but I'm just saying that what Anytime refers to as "old school" strategies is more based on talent rather than practice. If you practice enough and is fairly intelligent, you can do pretty well simply knowing the mechanics. While good game sense is something that not everyone can feel while multi-tasking at 300 APM.

oh right actually in that interview he also states that he told Nada "We should meet each other in the finals." Infact he kinda felt happy Nada won.
and yeah like what ilikestarcraft says, he isn't angry or anything. During the interview he says this all in a jokingly cool manner. He isn't overconfident or arrogant its just that when I translate some stuff, some translation come out harsher than it normally is.

Yeah i agree its hard to translate the overall tone sometimes with Korean because it might sound abit different in english.
You might know this already but 소심 can mean shy but it can also be used to call people who are really sensitive. Like people who are 소심해 get easily hurt a lot. So it makes it seem like Anytime is saying don't get hurt or mad when I tell you to stop relying on your mechanics too much and improve your timing. Take it as a suggestion and try it out.
People with blood type A tend to be 소심해 maybe Backho is A형 ㅋㅋ.

'밥' translated as 'bitches' means "rice" in korean. And when used in such a manner as that of Anytime, hmm.. . I can't find more fitting word than "bitches" ROFL! But he basically meant that he had total control over Backho when he played him. No offensive nature that word "bitch" has. I didn't read the interview but calling somebody his 밥 could either mean that he has superiority over somebody in game OR in actual life. and im guessing it to be the first. gj to MrHoon for translation.

Best progamer interview I ever read. Funny... I bet most progamers think like this ("I own X, Y is a scrub etc.") but rarely do these thoughts get voiced. Cool stuff!

Haha that interview is freaking great. Love Anytime after hearing that.. He is so cynical about everything and that is what's funny. Bashing on BackHo is hilarious, he seems like a nice kid but Anytime just thrashes on him. Great stuff.
Love to see Ace v Lecaf -> Anytime v BackHo now. Hahaha

I'm not that suprised that Backho fails to listen. Its obvious every game that he plays by his own set of rules and totaly disregards the laws and ways of Starcraft. In my eyes that is what makes every game he plays interesting but sadly I know a lot of TL disagrees
