you are asian you should be better at math ;p (jk) . but seriously if you drive a car that has approximately normal highway MPG (let's say about 22)... and the place is only an hour away we can assume it is about 50-60 miles. So it'll take less than 3 gallons which is round trip cost of less than $20.

I dunno where the extra $20 is coming from aside from maybe an entrance fee or buying food. ;p

I kind of want to go to a LAN for once in my life. The only problem is that I'm a really terrible, godawful player. My best iccup rank is D. It'll still probably be fun though. Is this being tentatively planned for a weekend?

Friday or Saturday sometime during November hopefully. Don't worry, LANs are fun regardless of rank and last LAN Before Time the average rank was D/D+ so no worries there

About an entrance fee... I don't know, prizes are cool but that is one stupid rule. I for one would pay a few bucks to put into a pool but I don't think others would be as willing (especially seeing as the majority of people will be like D/D+ anyways). Otherwise I would be just as fine if there was a small fee to cover the cost of LAN organization and stuff.

Anyone have the info from AAA on how they were able to use Dwinelle? Was it rented or what? Do Berkeley clubs have free use of campus buildings??

I'm going to talk to my friends next week and decide firmly upon a date. it won't be DURING thanksgiving, it will either be right before or right after.

(its looking kinda like right after at this point just because school is a bit busier than I expected)
