Why are only four teams doing this though? What circumstances would make a proteam want to do this? Players are drafted usually right, so how is Idra even assured of getting on eSTRO if he passes courage? Would they just have to draft him? Or when a team does this does it choose players to become pro and join it's own team? I don't really understand the process of becoming a progamer

Being a progamer gets some kind of tax cut in korea i think. I think if they actually give someone their progamer license they're entitled to pay them.

I don't really get it either, but hot damn, if Idra becomes a sanctioned pro without going through courage, thats a testament to his ability eh? Estro saw how far he went, said damn he is good, I'm not risking he just barely miss out on passing courage again, and decide to snap him up- hopefully.
Can you dig it?

IIRC, its pretty much exactly the same timing they gave to draco lol

well, i know only one thing - being and training in korea for 4-5 months for sure isn't enough to play like a progamer - no chance. doesn't matter if estro believes or not in his skill. i saw his last two matches in spirit tournament - it wasn't even semi-pro (but i know - he might have a bad day). i hope we'll be fine there and we'll soon see other players in seul, but difference between idra's style and for example - bbyong style - is quite big <---- same, as the difference between estro and samsung khan. being a good player for first team doeasn't mean he would be so good in second team opinion)

sorry for my english, but i use it for the first time since 2006 ^^
I apologize for all my english mistakes. I used to write really good senteces in this lenguage, but nowadays, i smoke too much weed and drink too much vodka. So you must forgive me :)

To be honest I do agree with this, Idra's macro seems to be far lower than it should be. But, well, a lot of people get their lisence, get on to a team, and then don't play for a long, long time. Idra will make a lot of development in his career, but I don't think we will be seeing him on Proleague anytime soon, at least not frequently. Who knows though, he may just be one of those people who learn quickly. Hopefully!

By the way, your english is fine.
