yeah so format is in each group, using group A as an example:
Pure vs Hyuk play a Bo3
winner of that will play Sea in a Bo3
only the final winner advances.

other things i think will happen:
group B: kal > effort, kal > flash (call me crazy)
group C: forgg > shark, forgg > much (not sure about this one. forgg will decimate much if he gets past shark, but i just don't know. shark is pretty fuckin' wild sometimes)
group D: hwasin is gonna take this without incident
group E: sangho > jojoba (??? sure), mind > sangho (or jojoba??? sure. whatever, mind's gonna walk these chumps)
group F: IRIS > PUSAN, IRIS > BISU. IRIS IS GOING TO MAKE OSL.
group G: Light > Violet, jangbi > light
group H: justin > han (prove me wrong little han~), rock > justin (can you honestly believe one of these two players will make OSL AGAIN)
group I: I don't know what's up with dongrae, he somehow made it through both offlines. tester is bad, dongrae is bad, either of them will become bird food when they hit stork.
group J: go.go > bestgod (lol bestgod), i HOPE ggplay > go.go but its up in the air, very close
Group K: FANTASY > SOO, FANTASY > NADA. FANTASY WILL MAKE OSL. I fucking love nada but I want to see what fantasy can do in the round of 16, and his TvT is pretty fuckin' outstanding.
group L: Midas is gonna work these two half-wits with style and grace

Personally I didn't mind Troy all that much - despite the fact it forced certain playstyles and had a slight racial imbalance.
Hell, either way, I'm happier watching creative play than constant macro wars. Call me a sucker!

I like how there are only 10 zergs in OSL (out of 40 players atm), and two of them are playing the Red Sniper in a Bo3.

ROFL, no zergs getting through? Personally, i think Sea (as much as i love him) will have a couple difficulties with Hyuk and Midas will lose to Yarnc. Pusan will get through!!!! and ggplay will beat gogo.
edit: nm u said ggplay would probly go through.

Theres a very strong terran line up and the protoss lineup is good too, the zerg lineup is pretty weak in comparison

uuuuuuuuuuuughhhhh noooo. All the players I want in the osl are fighting strong players. Pure against Sea? Well, its not the round of 8, so Sea is going to win. DAMN! Kal vs Flash? Damnit. Iris vs Bisu?! Damnit!
On a side note, hopefully Tester can beat Dongrae and go up against Stork. Storks been pretty weak in pvp lately, and hopefully that will net him a surprise [but wonderful] loss.

Holy shit, you're right. Even so, Pusan/Iris/Bisu is probably the most interesting group. Definitely hoping for Iris to make a splash again. Kal/Effort/Flash is also intriguing. As for Hwasin and two zergs....lol. But then again, what would a major starleague be without Hwasin advancing to quarterfinals and falling apart?

Pusan vs Iris will come down to what they open with imo. Iris vs Stork in that semi final a while back with iris going 2 fac and stork going 1 gate expo is definately applicable with Pusan going 1 gate expand fairly often. I hope he opens with 2 gate or dt/reaver or something.
Orcourse I have my fingers crossed for pusan just cheesing the fuck out of iris, but id be cool with a macro war, so long as pusan wins.

The format looks really cool now that I actually see it laid out. I still miss the group double elim format, but this has me pretty excited.

C-ForGG- Beast. I still don't like him but I greatly respect his play.
D-Hwasin, how lucky is he. There are 7 zergs in this round and he gets two.
E-Mind- Yay for inconsistency.
F-Iris- Looking pretty good in offlines. Pusan shouldn't give Iris much trouble, but Bisu might
G-Jangbi- Looking too solid
H-Rock- Han is too new to judge and Justin sucks.
I-Tester- I think Tester can beat Stork in a macro game.
J-go.go- The other two players are bleck at the moment.
K-soo- I can definately see soo making the upset. I would really like fantasy to advance, but I'm not sure he can win.
L-Midas-Others look weak

The real interesting thing for me in the Iris/Bisu/Pusan group is if Pusan manages to knock Iris off. Then we have the showdown that has been a long time coming, old MBC-style mentor and his student, now in SKT. Could be very interesting.
Hopefully Shark will manage something as well.

Well..... the only ones who really have a chance unless someone chokes are Hyuk and GGplay..., Then again theres already 2 zergs seeded for the Ro16 soooo hopefully they can atleast get 4 into there.

rotk is heavily balanced towards terran, plasma is heavily balanced towards zerg, and andromeda is andromeda

Group A: I think this group will be very close but I am hoping Sea will pull it out.

Where are july and luxury? Did Savior not qualify? I love all the terrans but i have a soft spot in my heart for zerg. I agree BW is imba if no zergs.

well, they did place 1st-4th in the last OSL, and there have always been 4 seeds into the OSL Ro16
