Actually it is like, whenever I tried to give my style a little bit of personality I started losing more often. I know how to play different styles but as soon as I go after my will instead of rational thought, playing terran becomes frustrating. To me playing terran is a revenge. I want to prove that playing protoss isn't so easy as everyone thinks it is. Zerg users overestimate themselves a lot as well, but since I have much more practice against protoss my stats against zerg aren't that good. Still I like TvZ and TvP just as well. TvT is a whole different story. Right now I'm having trouble to find an answer to the current TvT style. This perhaps proves that I still hate playing against terran. | ||

I like controlling the pace of the game, and I originally most likely felt that having a solid defense could dictate the pace (as was the case for Total Annihilation). It didn't take too long before I realized offense was a much, much stronger way of controlling gameflow, and while Protoss is a very aggressive race, I ended up falling in love with how Zerg can fluctuate their essence (drones one moment, army the next, a totally different army the next), thus controlling the pace of the game in a rather quirky way. I still like Terran, but I can really feel myself more constricted in terms of gameflow. I forget who, but someone mentioned that "if you scout terran/protoss you can get a gist of what their army is in 1-2 minutes, but if you scout zerg you have very little idea of what's coming." Protoss is my worst, by far, it tends to feel way too sluggish for me to play that fast, controlling way. | ||
