I'm being nice, from what you and diggity come off as on Teamliquid I think you guys should stop doing commentaries but I fully understand your passion and respect the energy and work you guys have put in, but I doubt anyone is learning from them.
a meaner post, so if you were commentating that game and you saw that you would've been like ggplay with some terrible micro, taking ages to kill iris' marines? If so then just rofl
the funny thing is, the announcer who is the most vocal for all of that is sooo wrong, he's saying how ggplay is in such a bad situation and not noticing at all that ggplay defended his expo perfectly -_-

Yep, most other zergs would've gotten COMPLETELY run over by taht berserker attack
I think MDT's limited knowledge of the English language made him mis-represent what he meant to say. Probably ment terrifying or maybe something else that makes sense in Korean.

Lots of people in this post apparently don't get sarcasm.
Edit:
Rephrase: It's hard not to take that personally, Zulu. I don't know how you decided this was the thread to mention it, anyway. And I'd like to see you find someplace where I said I was trying to teach anyone.
TBH I suspect you're one of the tons of people that have seen like 5 seconds of one of my vids and decides to randomly flame for some random thing.

yea put too much time in it. no one is learning anything
P.S. You're welcome for uploading the vid so people could watch it without downloading the hires.

To come back the way he did vs Iris was so clutch. That game on HH one of the best pressure games of BW you'll ever see.
Actually I was originally referring to the fact that I actually didn't think that GGPlay should have won that OSL. But that's because I thought Iris had it in the bag but then folded towards the end of game 5, letting his vessels get killed pretty carelessly and stuff. It was a good comeback but I think it was Iris throwing it away. It's been a while, though, so I could be remembering it wrong, but I seem to recall that being my feeling at the time.

Moletrap, from posting on forums and watching your commentaries, I highly doubt you were being sarcastic. Right after I posted that, as people on IRC can attest to, I immediately dug up you + diggity + klazart's triple commentary on the bisu vs jaedong blue storm game. I wanted to pick a good example to see if I was wrong to flame you guys or not. I've watched two previous games where both of you commentate before the bisu/jaedong one, because I thought Baezzi and VioletTak were the same person and you guys took his account. Anyways, I know that this is only one game, but I've created a list of the things you guys said that I disagree with. Klazart talked the most of course but he was only doing play by play for the most part while you and Diggity provided the color commentary/insight.
Ok I was gonna make a list but there was gonna be like 100 things so I'm not gonna bother. My position on your commentaries is this, I commend you guys for taking the time and effort to make English commentaries and doing something for the community, however as commentators you guys do not provide much insight and are plain wrong most of the time. What I'm worried about is if someone tried to learn from watching you guys provide insight that person will probably learn some pretty damaging stuff to his fundamentals. But as long as the audience know to take what you guys say with a grain of salt it's okay.
The fact that he did it with like one defiler? Okay that's an exaggeration but GGPlay barely had any units, yet managed to hold back and eventually eliminate that huge force, and with minimal casualties. The circumstances behind the game only make the play more admirable (it was done during the final round of an OSL final).
I feel bad at how much this thread has derailed just because of the title.. =/
I'm allways impressed how defiler usage evolved over the last years. I mean it's one thing to just pre-load a defiler and then move in but under pressure with a terran moving around on stim like a madman and vessels all over the place.
I remember a game where a zerg consumed his overlord with lurkers in it. Shit doesn't happen every day but at some point it's like marine micro, one mistake and you probably get ripped apart.

Agreed. I absolutely can't stand any of the American shoutcasters. I think they do a piss poor job because you can obviously tell that they don't understand the game as well as the vets here on TL.

Okay, again going back I already said that my thing about GGPlay not deserving the OSL title was because it was a twist on my actual feeling, which is that he won because Iris folded and stopped playing at his peak part way through the last game. And TBH I was just trying to come up with a way that the play could be interpreted as "terrible." I thought it was exciting and I probably would have commented on both players dodging around each other.
I honestly don't have time to type a full blown disagreement with you, but I'll just say I think you're wrong. I'm honestly right a lot of the time. If you're going back several months, yes, I was a noob, but I'm not sure what forum posts you might be thinking of these days. And you know what else? When I'm commentating and I'm not sure about something, I usually say so..
I think a lot of people have things stuck in their head too much about how things are. They have lost sight of the fact that in starcraft, anything can happen.
You still haven't told me where you got the idea I was trying to teach anyone anything.

He didn't lose much. Who cares how long it takes?
I don't know actually. But what I mean is that he could probably have kept that terran out of that expo with like 2-3 well placed swarms instead of like 6-7. But yeah, it worked out for him so I guess it was good.

Care to elaborate? Most of the swarms looked properly placed to me, it's just he had so few units there's no way to force Terran to stand and fight rathter than constantly running.
this thread is pretty good cuz it seperates the people who actually know whats happening in a game, and the people who dont know wats happening at all and get easily misguided by a simple title.
Chiming back on subject. I think GGplay has the best deflier and muta micro in the game right now.
Unfortunately his macro hasn't been stunningly fast to get a good muta harass off and most opponents end the game before any defilers are out on the field.

I agree about ggplay's defiler use and general hive tech play being top-notch. I think the only other zerg who can compete with him in terms of hive play is Savior. For muta micro though, there are at least a few other zergs who are better. Jaedong, Kwanro, and Yarnc have better mutalisk micro in my opinion, and other zergs like Savior and July match ggplay.
Jaedong definitely has awesome muta micro. Kwanro's is good but I havent seen anything astounding. I have to say his ling micro is great though. Yarnc seems solid to me all around but not outstanding in muta micro.
July had jaw dropping muta micro once upon a time but I havent seen in awhile.
You have to wait a bit for it but here is a bit of what I am talking about
