also I emailed avast antivirus last week about wmode.bwl. They never replied but they seemed to fix it seeing it as a virus

There anyway to make this badboy self updating? It takes forever just to get everyone to download the correct version, and for some reason even with instructions no one can set it up correctly on their own. Chaos makes lots of stupid people ;(

Sry if this was mentioned before, but are there ~~the apmlive~~ and hotkey selector plug ins for the new version of chaos?

You can be banned for all third party tools. But I don't know if Chaolauncher or one of the plugins is responsable for the supposed bannings.
all advloader plugins (including apm-live) have not been updated yet. But there is APM-Alert which also includes an APM display.

After logging into b.net for a while and playing a game or two, if you logout and try to log back in, it will say unable to identify application version. You have to exit SC and launch again to log back in.

Also, could you implement something to Disable the F1 key?

Yeah. Disabling the F1 key would help a lot. I can imagine it being use in Starleague games too.

If you use APMAlert, its probably due to that. You can tap F8 before trying to log into BNet and it'll fix the problem (and the problem will be solved when I release the next version of APMAlert).

Ok I can't update the launcher. It comes up with the screen that says new updates are available, but then I click yes to install and the restart my application, it doesn't start. When I start it up again (or unsuccessfully try to), this is what is shown in the log.

9/27/2008 8:47:55 PM Logging started
9/27/2008 8:47:56 PM Quit to install updates
9/27/2008 8:47:56 PM Logging ended

Nothing else, and Chaos doesn't start. It has been doing that for about 2 weeks. WHY???!!

Chaosupdater.exe needs write access to the Chaoslauncher directory. This might not be the case on vista when "run as admin" is not enabled for it. A workaround is to delete the temporary folder inside chaoslauncher directory and disable autoupdate afterwards.

When playing teammelee, I get the rally point hack detected every time someone clicks. I'm not 100% sure it's every time but it's major spam. All three people on the other team and my partner were pointed out.

yeah I was gonna mention that aswell but forgot. I was playing a 15 minutes team melee game and we all averaged on like 130 apm or somthing and EVERY SINGLE click gave me a rally hack warning. That was alot of warnings.

I did. I'm simply letting him know about it. Maybe it's easy to fix. If it isn't, then I just won't use it.

ok I'll look into the issue. Probably the playernumber in the unit is really a faction number and in the command it is the real playernumber which are not the same in team melee.

hey guys i have trouble enabling my apm live and other things like color corrector, advbnet, etc. it says its incompatible and when i play no apm live or anything like that, can someone tell me how to fix this?

All the advloader plugins are not updated to 1.15.3 yet. Use APM-alert for APM display.
