1) It works just like haji said, but officially it is not allowed by ICCup.

2) Are you using Vista? If yes check the "Run as Administrator" setting in the fileproperties of Chaoslauncher.exe

3) CPU-Savior can cause these problems. Make sure you are using version 1.4, the older versions have more mouselag problems. Also w-mode supposedly sometimes causes similar problems. Without these plugins you should have no mouselag.

Can you modify autoreplay so it saves to a different folder dependent on several factors (mu/your aka/server etc)? I'd like for some kind of sorting of the autoreps. Just into things like icc acc, mu, 2v2, 3v3, ums etc.

I've packed and unpacked the archive with winrar, no problems.

No idea about the ventrillo thing. But it is probably not chaoslauncher itself but a plugin which causes problems.

@Kwark too much work for too little gain. But perhaps sb can create a script based on the pyrep library which sorts the already existing replays by some criteria.

it appears in the same directory as the launcher. This directory normally should not be the Desktop nor the SC-Folder. Did you copy the Chaoslauncher.exe instead of creating a link to the desktop?

I disabled every plugin and let ChaosLauncher run, it still has the problem. My push-to-talk hotkey doesn't work in fullscreen. It works without ChaosLauncher...

It's pretty weird because it works for many... Is there some feature that can block global hotkeys? If it helps I use Vista Ultimate 64... (and my vent hotkey isn't caps lock or windows key).

So you have disabled every plugin including Chaosplugin, which is the only plugin which should disable hotkeys. Does the launcher/SC run with elevated rights (as admin) and ventrillo doesn't? Perhaps Ventrillo cannot activate its hotkey then while SC is running with elevated rights.

launcher is admin, not sure about sc or ventrilo. But the thing is standalone SC without chaos + ventrilo works, but not with it..

I'll try adming giving admin rights to ventrilo tonight

I'm getting the (5) error which you had mentioned deals with permissions. I have run as admin checked in properties, but when I start Chaos, I get a german error, and the error (5) with apm alert.

download http://winner.cspsx.de/Starcraft/Tool/Chaoslauncher.exe and put it in your launcher directory. That should fix the error when starting the launcher.
And are you sure you set the run as admin for Chaoslauncher.exe and not one of the other programs?

Apm alert doesn't work for me. Even when not incombination with other plugins
I get: Error! Couldn't find SC process. Error Code 5 notification and then error in apply patch and then refers to the bwl file. Any way to fix this?

That means that the launcher has no admin privilegues. On Vista you can fix that in the properties of Chaoslauncher.exe by setting the "Run as administrator" setting there
@Vittu:
install AdvLoader, then a APM-Live plugin shows up in chaoslauncher which has this feature.

The only other "program" in there is "Chaosupdater.exe" and I didn't change the permissions on that. I'm sure I checked "Run as Administrator" for "Chaoslauncher.exe".

If it helps, apm live worked for me about 2 days ago when I first downloaded CL. Now it has stopped...
