Is there a way to tell Avast that it got a false positive, and to ignore the "virus"? Or do I have to set my Chaoslauncher directory to not be scanned? | ||

As for window mode, while I don't actually -play- in it, there are times when I just like to hang out in a channel on Bnet or something while doing other things on the computer. Window mode really helps with that. All in all, it's not that big of a deal, but still something I'd like to fix if possible. | ||

Just recently I installed Avast Antivirus after my Symantec basically blew up. When I tried to run Chaoslauncher, it detected three viruses: one in apmalert.bwl, one in wmode.bwl, and one in chaosupdater.exe. I know these are false positives, due to how Chaoslauncher works (or at least, that's what I'm gathering from previous questions on the subject), but I can't get Avast to ignore the files. Even if I tell it not to do anything, it won't load W-mode and APM Alert. Is there a way to tell Avast that it got a false positive, and to ignore the "virus"? Or do I have to set my Chaoslauncher directory to not be scanned? I got same problem. Don`t ignore that what avast says, I did and I had whole computer virused as hell , ping 5000-10000 , I hardly could join any server ... | ||

Then compile it yourself. It is open source. But unless somebody hacked my webspace and replaced the download it contains no virii. I sent APM-Alert to Avira and they came to the conclusion that is is harmless and made their scanner no longer detect it. But I'm too lazy to do that for all programs and all antivirus companies. | ||

Right-click the "avast! On-Access Scanner" icon on the task bar and click Program Settings. On the navigation, click Exclusions, and then add the path of your Chaoslauncher folder. I just did this 5 minutes ago, so I'm still not sure if it works, but I think it should. Chaoslauncher is awesome and playing StarCraft without it is very inconvenient for me. | ||

i put in the name of the game with the #LL and press ok, and it crashes the game and gives me that "send error report" message. I love chaos plugin and would appreciate some help with this, the other fix, the debug version of chaos, is not available to download from that winner. site.
