Really sad. While I understand (on a very superficial level) the business rationale behind that decision, it doesn't make me feel any better. I hope some of the great casters in the community have the time and energy to provide us with community english casts. Tastosis had a unique dynamic as a duo and it will be sorely missed if they choose to stop casting BW together, but hey, don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. Cheers to those wonderful years, thanks for all the fish!

This sucks, since I've understood BW is still doing really well in terms of viewership on Afreeca. Maybe we will come to remember these 10 seasons as the "good times" when we had an official English cast for ASL. Really sad to see it go.

Sad news! In last few years i only watch BW,its hundred times better then any new movies and shows!
Since the last ASTL we got esport as a team sponsor is there any chance they can contact Afreeca and see is there any chance we can all donate and pay for Tastosis to cast?? I mean is anyone know roughly how many money Arty and Tasteless earn per season?

I really hope this can change and its not final decision...

AfreecaTV should think about selling the ASL English broadcast rights. I would think there are enough viewers and a market. If it's true the issue is that foreign ASL viewers aren't generating enough revenue since very few of us use AfreecaTV and all the ads are for the Korean market, sell the rights to some other company that can run more relevant ads for a foreign audience.

This sucks, especially since the starcraft scene outside of Korea seemed to be doing pretty well in terms of viewership and BW player numbers.

I do like the idea of crowdfunding Tastosis casts though, if they are up for it. I'm usually kind of cheap but BW is important enough to me that I wouldn't mind pitching in.

What a tragedy for the whole foreign BW scene. I wish AfreecaTV would reconsider, Tastosis have been keeping BW alive, and with this announcement, part of it has died.

Well this sucks. The viewership seemed very strong, but I guess the ads were mostly for koreans which made no sense for foreign audience.

Sad, but expected. Still gonna watch ASL since it's the Most competive league and I'm used to hearing korean comments. I can't really agree on the boycott some people want.
