AfreecaTV, please give us some insights, I am sure that foreigners scene can fix that easily. My understanding is that Afreeca is not willing or able to invest any money into tastosis salary at this point. They explicitly offered the clean feed stream for community casts, but as pointed out the youtube stream provides them no marketing bonus for Afreeca.tv whatsoever and likely close to 0 income from merch. If Tastosis salary expectations were just to high from afreecas pov, they would have hired somebody different, which they didnt. Tastosis make a living from casting, so obviously its nit an option for them to do it 4 free. Thats my take. | ||

From the community side, I think this will actually work out wonderfully. Obviously, Tastosis are blessed to have the freedom to be themselves on broadcast, and from what they've made public, are mostly left to themselves. There will still be demand for these games to be brought to a western audience, and that need will be served, most likely by Tastosis themselves(but maybe not live due to broadcasting rights), if not by our other excellent voices. | ||
