In general I favor decay mechanics for Elo, but I do agree in this case it might be a bit of a stretch. | ||

You can't really pair with a buddy since it's autobalanced. To add to my MMR decay suggestion I would like people to look at the top of the leaderboard and tell me if they think it looks okay to have players sittin in the top 10, 20, 30 with ~5 games. | ||

I mean good players who play just a couple BGH games every once and then would not be properly balanced if their MMR would decrease without losing. Yeah it sucks if someone is aiming to #1 spot and it's taken by someone who played only a few games, but I think most of the players do not care about bgh ladder rank, but rather just wants balanced teams. | ||

It seems pretty impossible to get to the #1 rank with just a few games anyway, and if there's one guy in the top 10 with a 6-0 account then I don't see how that matters at all. | ||

I absolutely do not want mmr decay. Firstly the goal is finding balanced games more so than it is creating a perfect bgh ladder, secondly I want the option of not playing for a month, thirdly it's not like ladder where you can always find a game immediately. Would suck if you were like 'oh, I gotta play a couple games today to avoid the mmr decay' and then the bot wasn't running or it bugged out or the games filled immediately and you weren't able to join.. Good points, I agree with you even tho personally I wouldn't mind decay but I see how it can annoy most. It seems pretty impossible to get to the #1 rank with just a few games anyway, and if there's one guy in the top 10 with a 6-0 account then I don't see how that matters at all. I thought that getting to the top of the leaderboard with very few games would be pretty impossible but after taking a look at it, it feels like something is wrong: There are 10 players with 10 or less games in the top 30. #6 has 6 games (6-0) #10 has 5 games (4-1) #16 has 5 games (5-0) #20 has 5 games (5-0) | ||

I really don't think it matters at all how many games in the 10-30 ranks have played. I'd agree it was bad if you could get top 3 with few games played, but if someone manages to win 6-7 games straight from a 3200 rating (which could in theory give us a 13-0 account in top 2-3) then they are almost certainly really, really good anyway. | ||

I feel that it ought to be allies, otherwise it sounds funny Fixed In regards to MMR decay: I think there are 2 separate things to consider 1 MMR decay, meaning that players who didn't play much should lose MMR 2 Inactive accounts on the Leaderboard - people who achieved good (or bad) stats, and stopped playing bot games but they are still listed on the Leaderboard Ad 1) I don't think there is a need for MMR decay. It makes sense when it's clear that a player has stopped playing the game. With SC:BW players often play 1-1 games and other custom games so their skill doesn't have to go down. Ad 2) It makes more sense to do something about this. I thought about not listing inactive players in the main Leaderboard and don't count them when ranking people. | ||

The game has just been played: 13/10/2020 18:10 He started attacking me at around 18:23 in the game. I left around 18:57. I was pink zerg at 6, and he was green protoss ally at 5. I even mentioned to him that the game warns one about ban if attacking a team mate, but he did not seem to care. So, I have just left. | ||

Why? Because: krsna calling his stronger team mates (C->A ranks) - he calls them "noobs". After that krsna comes to forum and reports team-killing. C->A ranks get banned because of E-rank who is provoking them. Also, hm... If C->A ranks are noobs, and E-rank is not noob, then MMR calculation is not perfect. D3ADR3TARD need to improve MMR calculation to satisfy krsna. | ||

And if you encounter really BM just report that. | ||
