I agree with SA in the evening. If not we need one more SAB bot. Its very very hard to get a spot there. | ||

I'm not sure if you are aware how popular the SAB games are. Many times if you're not spamming refresh to join this game, it fills within <1 second. This is not an exaggeration, the game literally fills in less than 1 second. Even then, you have a 25% chance to join a bootable slot that will get closed. This is a HUGE hit. It's not just "kind of fun" -- it's literally the best game on the server all day hands down. People sit around all day and wait spamming refresh, checking where the bot is etc trying to get in. Meanwhile the DEF bot is wasting away. Many players avoid non SAB/C games. It requires no skill to achieve F rank. Simply join and go afk - mission accomplished. The lower ranked players and games have much higher variance and are difficult to balance with a ladder score. Because of this high level of variance, the games are often not balanced properly, defeating the purpose of the bot in the first place. Most players already know this. They simply don't join these games, hence DEF bot is not heavily trafficked. Therefore the F level is not worth dedicating mmr bot resources to during prime time hours. Many of your fans and BGH bot users would love it if we revisited the bots' schedule. I would suggest leaning into the successful things, and trimming back the things that don't make sense/ aren't as popular. Lean into the successes. * Run an SABC bot 24/7. - This might even peel off a lot of west players during EU AM / US PM hours to play. * Start SAB/CDE timeslots earlier & make them run longer (2 hours on either side would be good). * At least test the idea of an SA bot. If its not useful revisit the idea. Prune the less successful/useful schedules. * Re-allocate DEF to be SA or SAB * Remove "ranked only" timeslots since this is redundant with 50+ wins (50 wins takes a very long time). Again, thank you for all your hard work. This is basically the only games many of us play, so you've really made the game a lot more fun than would otherwise be playing boring unbalanced or low skilled games. | ||

The SAB/C bot games only start from 9PM at my region. So I always needed to wait the games and played at very late night and early morning. I feel very tired in the improper game hours. As the post above said, it'll be very welcomed that the SAB/C games start earlier and end later, for example, extending 1-2 hours at start and end. | ||

Bot tells you what to do before getting kicked, right? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong: 1. get 50 wins (UMS don't count) 2. join +50 wins games a bunch of times till the you get a bgh mmr. 3. join games of your rank (if you get rank C or higher, you can't join DEF) Write /stats to see your current stats. (win-loss-disconnect) | ||

I was supporting the idea of DEF early but now I have to agree with @rich-. Also SABC and CDE games fill quite fast too (CDE games usually only doesn't fill when there is SABC game on the horizon). DEF bot looks indeed like a waste of resources, rotate it to an SABC game or try other proposals. I of course would love to see more games suitable for C players because during the prime time sometimes one of the bots SABC or CDE is stuck or not working and only one bot for C level games is available. | ||

I am not angry at you at all. Joining the game with no intention to play should be punished IMHO. Just facts: you make canons all over your base -- that's fine if you have some strategy in mind and willing to play after loosing one of your allies for that in exchange. But then you quit that proves you had no intention to play that game in the first place. | ||

I didn't die -- only 1 lair got destroyed, but I had 6-9 mutalisks popping at main soon. Your words only prove my point: as I've said, if you're not intending to suffer allies losses for making early protoss exp and cannoning up your base then you're not willing to play the game. Those people who got banned earlier also "did something at their bases" but effectively not playing the game at all. By the way, the ban system solves exactly this problem -- if many people are angry about a person, then maybe it's not a coincidence. | ||
