Dear TL netizens,
We have finished our Major tournaments budgeting, and after a number of tournaments accrued/ reserved, we have a free balance of approximately $10,000.
In 2019 the Fund has spent over $50,000; most of which is prize pool.
If you feel you need some cash for your tournament prize pool, please keep in mind eSport.fund.
Please check our website, and submit an application if you need support.
The working process is under spoiler. + Show Spoiler + There are two core units in the Fund. 1. I am the funder and trustee. Your application first comes to my attention with two possible scenarios: I can reject an application at this stage at my sole discretion, or file to the Funding Committee. 2. The Funding Committee will then make decision to either grant funds or not. Funding is subject to 65% majority of votes. I am not a member of this Committee. So, in simple words, I have a sole veto right, but in order to get a successful decision you need to sell your idea to a number of people, not just one. A tip: I have two of my own tournaments withdrawn by the Committee in 2019, so these are not just talking heads.
If you will get a positive decision, funding is subject to a contract with you. Your usual obligations will be: pledge to spend the funds exclusively to the subject tournament, pledge to show Fund's logo, pledge to provide financial report.
Cheers, RB

This is great news for tournament organizers in 2020. Thank you!
P.S: I myself have sent an email with the filled form to secretary@esport.fund on October 3, 2019 to apply for a tournament fund ($100 prize pool) for November 2019 but got no response at all - no approval or decline, and no confirmation on receiving email from me. Which was quite discouraging. Is that a common outcome or was that a special case?

Anyway, just PM me here.

Trolling in such a small community of a 22 year old game. People might wonder if you're 12 or something. But checking the profile says you joined TL 14 years ago (me 15 years ago btw), so it's confusing. Maybe a brat is using dad's old account or something, lol. Good effort, tho I am immune to any kind of provocations. So it was all in vein

Thank you for your interest in the fund. We have allocated a number of grants throughout the post quarter and the remaining balance is US$ 3,000.

Guys, by crediting most of RCG 2020 expenses (converting event online) we have freed a lot of resources, and I am glad to announce that the Fund has more than $10,000- available. Please don't hesitate to ask for funding.
