Hi Cruiser0929! Thanks a lot for doing this.

You mentioned that many pros don't like the websites sharing replays. Reps indeed reveal a lot. But I don't understand why the pros are okay with FPVs such as online streaming? Aren't they revealing as much as replays, if not more?

Because we have to be considerate of the other person. If the other party is reluctant to disclose the replay, it cannot.

And it is because all of his game style is revealed.

They go through many competitions, including ASL and KSL.

So they may not want to share the replay.

Like why did he stop playing BW?

Any chances he comes back one day?

Thanks mate

He quit broadcasting for another job.

I don't think he'll ever come back.

I was about to ask the same thing.

Here on TL it circulated the version that he left BW because he was goin to dedicate himself to his family business.

But the other day I was playing with a korean friend and he told me another version. That after coming back from military he lied to his fans about the reason why he was not going to compete in some tournament and then the fans got really mad at him and started kind of bullying him and then he kind of went away. I also wanted to know how much of all that is accurate.

That's why they're both right.

It's for family business.

I heard you lied to your fans.

I know he quit because two reasons combined.

Were Koreans annoyed by the boring post game interviews during the KESPA days? It was always the standard «I just want to show good games for my fans» answers every time.
It seemed a bit wierd to us.

I didn't.

They just wanted to show their fans a better game.

The fans were grateful to the gamers for saying that.

because they know that gamers are trying for them.

Roughly 2 years ago if memory serves correctly ogn outlined a broadcast schedule which explicitly stated theyd run a brood war tour. All ive heard since is that koreans are 'patiently waiting' for ogn to fulfill said promise. Can u shed some light on this?

Yes, I've heard about

But that didn't come true.

The fans understood a certain extent, because they thought it was not feasible.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to buy such items anymore.

I don't know if it's a League of Legends.
I heard StarCraft doesn't sell stuff like that.

Thanks for this cool thread

Bisu makes a lot of videos with the same female streamer, are they in a relationship? I remember the video of Flash saying that Bisu is too picky with women and that's the reason he has no girlfriend hehe

What is the difference between ㅇㅅㅌㅅ and ㅇㅅㅁㅅ?

Has Jaedong ever explained why he chose to play only under his real name and never invented a nickname for himself like "Flash," "Snow," "Rain," and most other progamers?

Not 100% sure but:
ㅇㅅㅌㅅ = 역시택신 = as one expected Bisu (or something like that)
ㅇㅅㅁㅅ is the same but for effort since he is called 매 or 매새끼 so = as one expected effort

There's no other reason. He just used his name.

SC2 was a poor performer. It was not a popular game in Korea.

A lot has happened to SC1. The biggest incident was the match fixing scandal involving gamers.

As a result, many companies disbanded their SC1 professional game teams and were not sponsors of the competition.

Naturally, the SC1 professional league is gone.

a lot of n.die guild members used their real names as their ID (which is where (Z)Jaedong, (P)Jaehoon and (Z)soO got their eventual id's)

You mentioned in another thread that foreigners tend to like watching TvZ. Is it the same in Korea? What are the most popular matchups? And least popular?

Call it for what it is too. You left Blizzard because they forced their hand with the 'rights.' We'd like it if you cast more SC2.

The most interesting match is PvsT, TvsZ, and ZvsP. They all like it.

I heard that foreigners hate TvsT because it is boring.

But Koreans like TvsT, too.

High-level gamers' TvsTs are fast and thrilling.

You mean pro leagues? There were NASL, MLG, GSL and Dreamhack before. Nowadays GSL and Blizzcon but I don't follow pro scene much. There are smaller tournaments too.
