It's also really fascinating that Afreeca wants to expand in television when it seems that online is the future. It'd be like if Youtube wanted to get into television, why?

What a frontpage! :D Text says, starcraft BJ has fallen for a yokem (which if I understand is the word for female streamers who are themselves the main content of their stream) or something like that

Blizzard also do the samething. They choose MBC sports as the partner of OW league. Now OGN's final option is PUBG. But OGN failed to boom up. This is the biggeet crisis of OGN now. 2. AfreecaTV They want to make TV channel in this year. So they choose to invest many esprots now.(APL, AWL, ASL..etc. do you know AWL? It is Warcraft 3 league.. lol) The change of ASL interviewer is also the result of this decision. They want the professional interviewer now. Thank you for the update, big news! What's APL? Poker? Poor stargirl Go Afreeca though! I hope they can make it big with ASL at the helm. 3. SpotvGames Worst situation in these 3 companies. They lost all. Blizzard, Riot, PUBG, and all other major games. Do they still show FIFA? On March 28 2018 04:48 lestye wrote: they didn't seem to be interested in SSL That was because it was an invitational based on a viewer poll.

the only thing SPOTV has going for them are the nexon game tournaments like fifa online, sudden attack, kartrider etc. that will keep them afloat cause of nexon sponsorship, but thats about it.

For SC1, I'm assuming there was a problem with last year because of the top tier pros didn't like the poll/format. I'm assuming they didn't get a good return because of the lack of top tier pros. I think for SC2 its different. They subsidize SC2 and they opted just to double down on GSL rather than splitting it between 2 leagues.

Ah didn't know all 3 channels are running their own tourney. Is Nada playing? Will they revive SPL as PUBGleague? I watched kartrider a couple of times, glad they still at least can air that. As someone said, it would be sad to see a company in this area fold.

I really hope OGN gives it another chance, their production value has always been absolutely stellar!
