Brood War has done way better before blizzard "supported" it. If anything brood war needs to get saved from it's abusive parent and brought back to it's foster parents in Korea. I totally agree with fish radio. It's only been 5 years since tving OSL and the end of chapter 1 of bw, which at the time seemed to be it's death. The fact that a tournament of the caliber of ASL is even taking place is just awesome. Brood War has made it through the darkest of times when 99% of pros left when Blizzard forced the sc2 switch, we are far better off than that right now. It's not going anywhere, stop worrying about it and start enjoying what we have. It's still a beautiful game and we can still watch high level tournaments. I would have loved to see a new OSL as much as anyone, in fact I probably would have cried while watching it. But if it's not gonna happen it's not gonna happen. OGN continues to be around and so does Brood War. We may never see an OSL again or we may see plenty ones some time in the future. For now let's enjoy ASL instead of crying over a lack of OSL. | ||

Koreans care a lot about it too. They absolutely do care. A minority may not, but a lot do. Koreans aren't some holy creatures that are above common desires. You make it sound like they don't care when they clearly do, especially for lower vjewership event and recent streamer migration | ||
