Clickbaits ftw. On January 02 2017 09:54 BisuDagger wrote: Are you just being lighthearted here or seriously being a dick towards TL writers? Because you opened up a thread in the SC2 section with just a link to an article on another website and no other content in the OP and a complete clickbait SC1 vs SC2 title lol. I have to agree with Bisudagger. I also agree that clever titles are necessary if you want people to read your article, but I also don't like excessively clickbaity titles, if the Article Title goes too far into click bait territory the topic of discussion in the comment section often discusses the Title rather than the content itself, and I don't think any content creator/writer wants that to be a reaction to their work. I also feel the need to say that Teamliquid has an established userbase, everyone who is on Teamliquid already knows why they are here, so overly excessive click bait titles are unnecessary, I do have to applaud the BW writing staff for a particularly clever and witty title, which I wouldn't in any way consider click bait. Take away; Refrain from too much clickbait, but smart titles are a definitive yes, especially if they get a chuckle out of me like this one did. A certain amount of attention grabbing is fine, just don't overdo it.

I glanced at this from work, holy shit what an upset. I actually think Sea will cry from happiness if he manages to win in a final vs either /Jaedong/Stork/Flash

He has been held back by chocking. Anyone who thought Sea stood little chance was wrong, even if the results were the opposite. Sea is just a player you can't discount under any circumstance. Yes, he was still an underdog but they were still way understating his odds.

Yes, he was still an underdog but they were still way understating his odds. + Show Spoiler + This is 100% true. Sea's play has always had virtually nothing to do with the opponent and everything to do with himself. He was never the very best player but he was always good enough to hang with the big dogs. He just always had a tendency to lapse midgame and then never recover, seemingly at random, regardless of the quality of opponent. The way I've seen him be able to recover from mistakes in this tournament is a really different Sea from what I'm used to seeing. He still has little lapses but they don't snowball mentally until he has no hope of recovering.
