If you click in the same place your EAPM doesn't increase because your command was "too similar" to a previous one. Try this: spam select minerals on the map with your mouse. Your APM can be as high as 200 or 300, depending on how fast you click with your mouse. Your EAPM will be zero because you didn't make any ORDERS TO UNITS. My EAPM is between 90 and 110, while my APM is between 130 and 200. There's a bigger spread for APM than EAPM because of spam. | ||

And like i mentioned certain races will have more EAPM by default, like zerg. Just building mutas and microing them raises your EAPM a shitton (because you'll be moving them back and forth), that doesn't necessarily mean you're doing anything taxing. All you're doing during all that is macro'ing off of 2 hatches with low drones, so there's no intense macro behind it. | ||

It's also match-up and strategy specific, like you said. Mutas raise it a lot. But since I just want EAPM on the screen, it would be just a measure for myself.
