The Korean scene was already moving back to Brood War and Blizzard's response was to cut the Korean scene and hope for foreigners. I know the "ded gaem" thing pisses off both scenes here, but StarCraft really isn't a thing outside of Korea. Even your average gamer, more likely than not, probably only knows it's a game that exists. I moved to BW cause the Korean SC2 scene wasn't looking so pretty and my tin foil hat was saying things would start happening. Two months later and the fucking God himself is back. | ||

ok but to call it trash bin?? there is still pretty high skill, its not like we don't lag on Fish too but its true the population isn't very big.. still games going on all the time i don't know, I just like Iccup, Fish is cool too and most likely plain better if you speak kor or don't lag or both^^ | ||

If you lag on Fish people will flag your account and all-server message for people to not play with you. Fish also gets over 50,000 users a day. iCCup is lucky to get 500 unique users. | ||

Flash and other blokes are nice, but they are just old-timers who once again stand up to bring back all the sweet memories. Seriously, they should make BW a national sport. | ||

I think we are in the rebuilding phase. The structure have to be rebuild in order to progress further. And having those players back WILL generate more interests in ACTUALLY going to Fish to maybe even face against the great and improve one's skills. I hope people dont forget the second best terran of the "last generation". If he would come back i'm frankly worried for the racial balance haha I saw some posts you wrote about fantasy's sc2 career. It actually inspired me to watch my first and only sc2 game ever (fantasy vs soO). Fantasy was so cool, he basically wasn't among the most mechanical skilled players, but made up for it with tailor made strategy, guerilla warfare and a never-say-die mentality to become among the best. He was unique. The only terran that could give Flash a real fight in a series. Flash is back. Yay  | ||

Yay I think Fantansy/Flash might finally push away the Bisu dominance and maybe Bisu have to be now 100% serious and play them or be a pussy and excuse himself for "military". I hope that Bisu can pass down the baton to Rain for the next Protoss in line. That would keep the storyline interesting: - If you can be good at SC2, you can also be good at BW. - More SC2 guys might switch over like Innovation, sOs, etc. - Means more influcts of players. - Keeping the SKT line alive If BW can continue on for just 2 more years, we'll see amazing players coming back from the army/going to army to stream BW. I think if we can wait like couple of more years where the fans themselves are in prominent position in companies to start investing in BW again, that would be the ultimate dream for sure. | ||
