He spend most of the game barely hanging on by a thread before he throws down 5 rax or gets broken. I've seen him do this very frequently. If he did his standard 5 rax into mech the results would probably look a lot different.

Damn, look at his spon bo3's vs Soulkey the past few days... Not looking good for hero. Huge Flash fan here but for the sake of the scene I hope hero executes sick games if not pull an upset!!

I've had that idea a couple of months ago, tried it on ladder in a couple of TvZs.
In the end didn't even get a chance to try it, games were weird.

Flash has stated 5 rax isn't as powerful anymore. It's hard countered by lurker openings so it's actually safer to go for 4 rax.

Current ASL maps are just not good for standard 5 rax openings. 5 rax is aimed at denying zergs 3rd base, and on maps like Crossing Field / Gold Rush / Outsider zerg can always take a safe 3rd gas. That's why Flash opts for gas openings where he can threaten fast 3rd expos with a dropship and transition into a more aggresive tank push to try do dmg before late game.

Did anyone just watch the stream and can explain what happened? oO
Flash had his ramp walled off with rax/fac and was just about to finish his ebay when the protoss attacked with 4-6 DT's, Flash pulled SCV's to repair the buildings, then the P morphed 2 DT's into a DA and Flash left the game. I'm very confused

Did the P jump a DT over the wall by morphing a DA next to it? Game isn't up on Korhal yet so I can't watch it yet.
edit: Toss left the game not Flash, either he knew he lost because of the wall in so he was messing around or he made a mistake? Weird
