For so many years they couldnt even fix the official b.net server, so people cannot host or join without waiting minutes, or create games without port forwarding. Also the licensing fees on OGN Will they care now LoTV is out? Their income from SC2 will be way lower with no expansions coming out anymore

If you take the opinion that later players were always stronger than earlier ones, then I guess you can argue Effort was the second-best of all time. It's always gonna be arguable, obviously.

Though July is a worthy argument for how long he was relevant and how he was able to take a golden mouse long after his heyday. It's kinda cool to think about players whose duration of relevance is as impressive as players whose time of dominance was in StarCraft's most competitive years. But yeah, Effort isn't anywhere near Jaedong in my head canon, impressive as his victory vs Flash was, and his general level of play in proleague. A contender, but never one of the 4 kings.

As much as i hate to say it as a Bisu fan, naming him the #1 Protoss is also most likely not right. Stork was a more consistent Protoss in my mind, while Bisu had greater "peaks of glory" so to speak, plus revolutionizing PvZ

But Tastosis had some other inaccuracies in their cast, like saying Queens are not used in competitive play, when we see them actually quite often vs Tvz Mech. Stork was a more consistent Protoss in my mind, while Bisu had greater "peaks of glory" so to speak, plus revolutionizing PvZ Their comment about queens kinda makes sense given how they switched over to sc2 in 2010, and as far as I know mass queen use against mech in TvZ didn't really blossom until 2011. I think their casts will only get better the more that they are able to do them hopefully.

However i think artosis was definitivily wrong in assessing effort to be "the clearly better player" in comparison to zero. But during the cast he also compared zero to shine and roro as "upcoming zergs" when he talked about zero's kespa career. I'm guessing artosis didn't pay much attention to bw after the sc2 beta came out? Even though he did show up in the crowd for the tving final (last OSL) along with tasteless i remember...zero is hands down one of the most impressive zergs of all time, his problem was not being aggressive enough in the early game because he was always so focused on taking it to the lategame. Actually cele, artosis pointed out that he thought that stork and bisu was pretty equal in the cast. He probably changed his mind in writing the blog to hype up the finals..IMO bisu is the best because he won 4 major tournaments (3 MSL, GOM season 2) while Stork won just 1 OSL. However Stork had more success in WCG and as you said his consistency gave him a lot of silver. But something in the nature of being the best requires you to actually take it all the way through the finals i think. He also took flash down in two proleague finals remember? Also according to TLPD, Bisu had a winrate of 66,13 %, just short of jaedong at 67,45%, however stork is at 60,27%. That is a pretty big difference i have to say, actually it is behind fantasy who is at 62,41%. Not that winrate tell the whole story, but it might be an argument against the supposed better consistency of stork?
