You advanced after winning two games. Thoughts?
Playing offline again after a long time, I was quite nervous. Even though I was trembling, I managed to win so I am happy.
How is your life after retirement?
I attended a university and got certificates in private institutes. I also had some part-time jobs. I think I've been doing everything I could.
Why did you choose to participate in this Starleague?
I have never achieved a satisfactory rating during the Brood War era. This has bothered me so I thought I'd join the competition to resolve this passion.
You used carriers in the first game.
I didn't drop a single game in practice, but today it was competition and the game didn't look so good for me. I thought I could lose so I ended up using carriers.
Goals in this Starleague?
At least the semi-finals.
Final words?
Many fans contacted me through Kakao Talk and Miso noona who is now in Daegu has also stayed in touch. Thanks and I'll try to return the favor. Also, Kwanro hyung said he hasn't been practising but he did well. He seems well prepared.

Last's way to the round of 16 didn't start well as the former STX SouL Terran lost to Kwanro in a macro game on Peaks of Baekdu. He then outplayed Shinee on Return of the King and dealt with Kwanro's early game agression in their second game on Blue Storm. On top of advancing to the round of 16, it was Last's birthday. In the live interview for SonicTV, Last said he wants to play Shuttle next so that he can advance comfortably.![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/J5YwgaY.jpg)
Give us your thoughts on advancing.
I am thrilled. Round of 16 onwards will be played at OGN's studio and it's nice to be able to do that again. I will make sure to perform well.
Today is your birthday. T/N: Last is now 23 years old in Korean age (22).
Ever since I arrived at the studio I felt like the fact that it's also my birthday gave me a "buff". The thought of losing wasn't in my mind. I did lose the first game but since I still advanced I am relieved.
You played Kwanro twice.
I thought I could win the long game easily. But Kwanro played better than I expected and it's been a long time since I played offline so I lost the hang of it and struggled.
In the final game you defended an all-in agression and won.
The Zerg took a fast gas and followed up with a spawning pool. Seeing the three larvae I knew it was an all-in play. Thinking I can defend if I make a proper simcity at the front, I faced the agression.
You mentioned Shuttle in the live after-game interview for SonicTV.
I couldn't think of anyone but Yoongjoon hyung. I hope he won't feel hurt by my joke. (laughs)
