A star balloon is a item you can buy on Afreeca and give to a streamer, which will get you into their fan club. Most streamers will thank you and give you a reaction if you give them balloons. Some streamers also offer additional rewards, for instance some quickview passes, which allow you skip preroll ads, and a lot of SC streamers sell lecture files separately, but if you give them an equivalent amount of balloons they'll send you a lecture file. The top 10 donors end up listed on streamer's broadcast page.
1 balloon is worth 100 Won.

how does it work? 3 players each team, do they just rotate 2v2s?

ya i think she does make revenue if you go to her afreeca page she screen shots the balloons she gets. some of them are quite high!
