On October 16th, 2006, KTF MagicNs and OGN Sparkyz had gone into a SKY Proleague match. With the score 2-0 for sparkyz, KTF and Sparkyz head into the 2v2. The match is Reach and a KTF Zerg against Chalrenge and Side. KTF manages to win the game, but right before the final "GG", Chalrenge decides to leave a little note...
The VOD has a bad quality, so it will be diffcult to see. But below is a SS of the screen.
Translation?
아놔 씨발 = Ah Fuck!
This message, originally intended for himself and his teammate, was accidentally sent "to all", and everyone saw the message... on the big ass screen.
OGN Sparkyz and Chalrenge later apologized for his mistake and was deeply worry. OGN was penalized for this and Chalreng's punishment will be determined by KeSPA officials later this week.
This is very funny, especially after Saturday's Football brawl....
Well no. Because this match was supposedly a "rival match" And in games such as football and soccer, etc, usually the fans split and sit close to each other. You can always tell which one is your crowd because the colors of their cloths will match your school/country. And most likely they'll be holding signs that root for you.
There is a very small chance that he mistook them for his supporters, and it's rediculous for him to bow for the very few people who might have been in there to support him.
kkkk- 아놔시발... so funny..... dumb ass i just watched this game untill 2 games and i got out oh god, i could watch it... so unlucky for me. god hates me T.T
with the unsportsmanlike call, isnt it all excessive celebrations are prohibited in college play? its not so much a matter of taunting the crowd as it is trying to stop players from acting like morons.

What a moron. I would've understood it if he just said it with his mouth after the game. There was no reason for him to type that, unless he wanted to show people how much of a dumbass he is...

calling people from the us " Americans" is retarded in itself
You guys might have pwned yourself because he could have been refering to "South America" where chile is.but then again it didn't seem like he was leading to that conclusion.

Eh? He's talking about south america yes, not southern parts of the US.
And it makes perfect sense calling people from the US americans and people from South America south americans, why? Because there's no other word used for citizens of the US!
Citizens of the United States is a weeeeeee bit longwinded.
Ml170 fuck off it wasn't a "right or wrong" statement. Me calling it "retarded" is not clearly definable nor is it a statement of truth. It is an opinion. Further, if you want to deny to me that North Americans have a higher stake to the term "American" than South Americans I would be enchanted to hear you gurgle out some childish logic.
FA If calling people from the USA "United States Citizen" is long winded, why do we have the right to be called "American" excluding the "North" part whereas people from Brazil, Chile etc.. have to be called "South Americans?" That is inherintly racist, it suggests we are pure Americans they are merely some rendition. If you are going to call a person from the US "American" and than go on to call someone from Chile "South American" you are disrespecting them. They are South American, we are North American. We are BOTH American. Our continent having more white people does not make it more American.
Right and there was a time when African Americans were referred to as Negro or nigger, does that mean it was right than as well? Fact is calling a North American "American" over a "South American is racist.
Your Russian example is significantly different because unlike the US, Russia is overwhelmingly made up of Russian born ethnic citizens. The US is a melting pot, we don't even have a nationally identified language. Additionally, the name "Russia" has a easily understandable name for its citizens, Russian. Whereas the US does not, we don't use United Statians or something. So what did we do? We just kind of appropriated "American." I'm not going to post anymore on this unless I get the standard flame attack that goes for me personally, really is not a huge deal to me. Just thought it was funny to see someone call us retarded essentially but than refer to us in a semi-racist fashion.
Thanks Ml1710. I suppose I would find that book the same place you could buy a book of Shut the Fuck Up. Right? How was my grammar here btw? I'm just curious cause I've never seen a talking ass like you.

by that logic though wouldn't the term 'african american' itself be racist because you're singling them out as individuals whose ancestors are from africa? What about 'Latin Americans' who got their name from the language they speak. I think people should be able to make generalizations like 'South Americans' without having to worry about being accused of being racist or quasi-racist. It's not like it's offensive/derrogatory slang.

Oh jeez. InC was technically right with his first point, though he was just being a pedant. But the moment he brought race in he was on dubious bullshitting ground. I believe the first person to call his opponent racist, a nazi or an anti-semite in an argument loses by default. Should have retired as technically right that Brazilians are just as American as US Citizens, although American is now synonymous in common usage with US Citizen and it is common usage that defines a word. But at that point you were slightly ahead, technically, while now you've lost.
This looks like it's just turning into a flame war. -_-
But now that the topic's brought up, what do most South Americans think about how the term "Americans" is almost always used in regards to North Americans only? I'd be interested to hear if most of them really do think it's a semi-racist term. My belief would be that it doesn't bother them so much since the allocation of the term in reference to North Americans has become an ingrained custom in most places.

It is a generalization not to be taken seriously. United States of America, American as Canada is to Canadian. It is all the same. Got to love short forms.

When the fuck did I bring up race ? What in my argument would make you think that I think people from the US should be called American because there's a higher % of white people there? Hell, you won't even be a majority white nation in few decades.
Now, my reasons for it being okay to call US citizens americans 1) People of the United States of America is very, verrrrrrrrrry long winded.
2) When was the last time you heard 'people of the united states' used outside of a speech ?
3) United states of AMERICA. If another country with America in the name wants its citizens to be called Americans, fine.
Some of you people are as stupid as half the second year students I teach @ uni. They actually had the nerve to use WIKIPEDIA as a legal source to staff their arguments and statements with.
Being on wikipedia doesn't prove ANYTHING, and can hardly be called dependable.
(P.s. this is a good thread, INcontrol get in there! Retort! Counter retort! Countercounter Retort! Rawr!!!)

wait. I always thought the term "american", when related to US citizens, came from "United States of America", like "Federative Republic of Brazil", as if the name of the coutnry was "America" too.

Steve, if you do not understand the concept of subtle racism or prejudice I am deeply sorry for your shallow existence. Just like referring to a CEO executive as "him" is sexism unless you know for a fact it is a male referring to American's as only being from the USA is belittling and can be viewed as racist to the other Americans who live in the continents of North America and South America.
But jesus christ JLIG has taught you guys nothing. My statement is completely true as Kwark said. Whether it is "racist" or not is a matter of opinion I guess. Arguing the logistics of it as long as you guys have is fucking pathetic. Allow me to start the end of this sub topic: JLIG. Do the same please.
