So, basically, the way I get this:

TeamLiquid - Progamers and outsiders
GosuGamers.net - European power
SCLegacy - Americans with backup
Fighterforum - The odd choices: the girl, the expensive Draco, the semi-retired CrayOn, the cheap Quirion and the inactive Ovvi
ygclan - Mediocre with a flavour of top
broodwar.de - Good Korea with a bit of Europe
reps.ru - The Koreans and the weak

You forgot pgr21?

But I wouldn't say TL.net is full of outsiders, me, ret and daze all post here. And we wanted leg + midian but they were taken just before we could take them.

nazgul, so you mean first you got to chose 6th place, and the next round you also got to chose 6th?

I thought it was 1-8 8-1 1-8 8-1 etc... and then you would be able to get both kosiro and siz)o.ov

It did go 1-8, 8-1, etc.
It's true that o.ov could have been picked up in the second round but siz)fantasy was chosen instead. former progamer I believe? Even pgr chose a terran(polaris) and picked up o.ov later on. It's amazing how he lasted so long in the draft.

edit
very slow lol

Siz)fantasy is on SKT T1 I think.

And Kosiro used to be a progamer but I heard he quit.

well i personally think T.L team is pretty decent. The Question is are ret and fisheye getting active? cause if they are then tl can do good.

Yeah, I forgot them apparantly.

And by outsiders I mean performance-wise. "Dark horses", if you will. Players you wouldn't expect to be on top, but have the ability to excell regardless. Apart from the progamers in the TL.net team, prettty much everyone falls under this category.

My descriptions were just to give a quick image of how you could identify the teams, not to go into any detail. I'm not really sure how I see the team strengths, although at first glance both pgr21 and TeamLiquid look strong.

I'd probably call pgr21 "heavy hitting favourites" or something.
I am not sure what to say

you gotta be kidding me.

Anyway, as testie said before this tournament will be hard to tell who is gonna win, PGR21 might look like the strongest team but with some luck any of these teams can win~~

go tl.net!!

shit guys, fisheye just said in an interview after he lost @wcg that he won't continue practicing and therefore also quit the sandlot. he said he won't play at all rather than play bad.
dunno if this is good news for team liquid or bad. guess it's better like this than if he would have played without the right motivation...

Shit, I really hope TeamLiquid get a replacement for him. Blizzard haven't seemed too strict about that, so I hope they just pick someone they consider equally strong. Is Arcneon still active? Or Lamer, the Bulgaria top player? Or Satanik, who seemed decent to me, and was said by people on MYM's website to be a really good and entertaining player. KaShu might also be good, seeing that he won WCG Hungary. EnerGy, PredY or Lopota seem strong also, considering the players I have seen them beat. yAn, of he's still active, even if he didn't do too well as WCG Ukraine. Maybe Escape who beat Advokate at WCG Russia. Or BlackJack, who seems to have been a long time stable performer, even if never really top non-Korean.
I am not sure what to say

Yay, so fisheye forfeited another tournament because of 'no motivation' (he did that in GGL once).

I think that's kinda.. :[
