We're allowing professional SC players to play now? Sweet!
Edit: This isn't about negativity. I'm not even talking to Gecko, Gecko spoke. So please, don't blame something on me that had absolutely nothing to do with me. And by please I mean be professional. I'm simply pointing out one of the most famous cheaters in foreign BW being a cheater and addressing that issue. By one of the most famous I mean only the most famous recently. I'm not saying that you have to change how you run your league, but don't try to suppress opinions that conflict with yours if they have legitimate claims.

Although I like the thought, It wouldn't fit our statutes, since they are about promoting foreign bw, and this server is not the prime center of foreign bw right now, nor aiming to be as far as I know.

Lrm)game is biggest abuser and cheater in the whole BW community. Running LRM and winning iccupcl with 1000 cheats and admin power abuses. Now this guy trying to talk here. Its obvious he has friends in admin section of this site. Otherwise he would be instantly ban for all the shitty things he did to bw community.

Right, let's try to ignore all the things which will eventually only stir up drama and try to be 'professional'. Let's sum up why Scan is banned on TL:
- Abused ladder games in TSL 2
- flamed admins (afaik)
Let's see how he "abused" in other places:
- He smurfed in some of Game/Eywa Events (ISL 2 iirc, some other tours), because he was banned for "abuse"
- he flamed the shit out of Sziky and others during ISL 1 (no ban issued, he still won it after all)
- he used a smurf for Los Reyes Del Mambo Evolutions in BWCL and ICCCL (see JoeKim blogspot)
TL;DR: he was allowed to smurf by JoeKim and Game in BWCL and ICCCL, then forced to use smurf in other tours
His record on Defiler:
- trash talk
- a lot of accusations revolving around Scan
-> nothing out of the ordinary. If you'd punish for such a behaviour, players like Alfio (random example) should be out, too.
TL;DR:
- TL.net banned Scan for excessive flaming, which is ok, nobody probably read what he wrote. That was 2,5 years ago
- Game banned Scan for smurfing after banning him for no apparent reason. This smells like a personal vendetta
- Defiler/ICC: Scan did flame a little, but nothing out of the ordinary. Futhermore, no records for flame from Scan on ICC in the past two years
Hence, why not allow him to play? He is good, he adds quality to the league. Moreover, the guy changed, he showed good behaviour in the past two years.
Seriously, don't talk about 'professional organisation' Game. You didn't even write an official statement as to why Scan was banned, nor did you link any sources. All you did was accusing him of hacking - which he never did.

I'm honestly a bit surprised that the last 3~ or so pages have been about whether or not Scan should be allowed to participate. If Scan was participating I would've expected some drama, but at the moment there hasn't been anything indicating that he's even aware of this event.
That's not to say that your concern doesn't matter, it really does, but rather that it's kind of pointless to discuss/flame/etc a purely hypothetical scenario...

I'm not sure how you can expect to be taken seriously when your facts are wrong... Scan was only banned from Gambit's Cup after he abused in Gambit's Cup. Eywa- took the same approach as SBWI is taking despite pleads to refuse Scan initially.

also i think its kinda wierd that an player who ALREADY played in the afreeca sceen would be allowed in the forgeirn. but that is just my opinion

I'm not sure but I think what you are saying is Scan was banned from stuff on suspicscion a while ago but that doesn't warrant a permanent, unconditional ban from everything? Honestly I could also see the opposite from this too
It's really hard to understand though...perhaps you could type in Hungarian and have google translate it over to english?

Okay, I thought that is what you meant, but hard to tell.
China will be playing, at least Fengzi is likely to afaik. I think why Scan, but not other KR allowed is because Scan grew up outside Korea (no professional scene)
And yes, of course I know yo!. Always showin up on snipealot and killing whoever I am watching

well going by the rules
A player who grew up in a location without a professional StarCraft scene; OR
The player currently residing in a location without a professional StarCraft scene and is not affiliated with a professional StarCraft team; AND
The player does not have connection lag that would significantly impact quality of play.
this might exclude chinese players, unless something about the great firewall of china has changed?
If Scan growing in the States is true then he would be eligible to play, however other Koreans abroad could make the same claim without there being much of a way to verify it.
