He cheated in every team league thus far (let's not talk about individual leagues... jesus). BWCL, iCCupCL, Gambit's Cup. Not only that, but you're honoring iCCup's blacklist because you're a guest on their server for this tournament. Why are you not honoring TL's blacklist? (of which Scan is near the very top). | ||

This is something that's come up at pretty much every meeting SBWI has had. It's also probably the only issue where we haven't reached a 100% consensus. What we did all agree on was that, barring exceptional circumstances, everyone in the BW community should have a clean slate with regards to participating in our events. Obviously, should a player with Scan's history sign up for one of our events, we'd be keeping an extra eye on him/her... In general, banning players from participating is not something we want to do. | ||

does the joker player has to play 1 of the 6 sets in order to be able to play ace match? or is it possible to use 7 players total? (6 players for the 6 sets and joker only for ace match) | ||

Somewhat, yes. It's far from a great solution, in my opinion anyway. Unfortunately, the alternatives aren't any better. However, if this proves to be a bad choice and harmful to this league -- or any other part of the BW-community for that matter -- our policy will change. EDIT: about the banning part, just to clarify: we're not gonna go easy on anyone abusing or hacking in this league. They will get banned, in accordance with the rules. What I meant to say was that prohibiting players to participate based on actions/rumors from years ago, is not something we want to do. | ||
