Well, I hope this is not a rhetorical question, because I'm totally going to answer it. If you read the automated ban list, you'd see he was a previously banned user. As for his question, I'm sorry to say, it was not reasonable, because Scan, who is a Korean-American, can't post here to defend himself. Also, unfortunately, we don't live in a magical unicorn world where everyone just gets along. There are a lot of different personalities being brought in contact with each other because the internet is linking people around the world together, and the result can be messy a lot of times. I'm sure there have been times when someone has said or done something on iccup or in a forum that has pissed you off, and I don't fault you for that. It might seem strange, but I think it's okay to be pissed off and say something about it. I think we're going in the right direction as people because maybe 200 years ago, we'd kill each other in a pistol-duel over arguments.

Isn't the point you're making just another reason Scan shouldn't be in the league... I mean, for SBWI to honor iCCup ban list and not TL's basically says nothing but bad things about their organization. They're obviously not banning users because they think it's warranted or because they want to do right by their predecessors and co-existing organizations... They just did it so that they can run their event on the server. Excuse me Mr. President, SBWI does negotiate with terrorists.
Oh and back to some less insane points, by the rules, I guess "TECHNICALLY" (given that they are poorly worded)... Rule 14 states that a player can be associated with pro gaming as long as he is not associated with a pro team... Now, basically that means, if just about any pro Korean player at the moment were to not be in Korea, they would be eligible because they don't have to be associated with a pro team in order to play in pro tournaments. The way I read it however, is that (how I think it was intended), players who are associated with the pro scene should not be eligible. As of now, Scan is part of the Korean pro scene... Given, the level has dropped, but not to a significant enough to close the gap with foreigners, not by a long shot.
Long story short, Scan is not excluded based on the current rule set as far as I know because it explicitly states that the player has to be associated with a PRO team, but that I think is outdated because previously you had to be on a pro team in order to play in a pro tournament, now you don't.

i knew from this screenshot what was the result of whole thing, isnt this a spoiler? are u complaining about another breaking rules while u do it ? sounds fair

How did you know the result?
Edit: People watch their replays win or lose. Especially Korean pro-gamers, the ex-STK1 type.
That was impressive could mean that Scan impressively raped, or Scan was impressively raped.
Rule #12 applies that Scan shouldn't have been streaming (SPOILING) his matches and replay(s?). His 77 viewers surely took away from the STL cast, thus he is a detriment to the league.
Come at me bro. Sounds fair, right?
Alas, it looks like spoiling IS allowed, confirmed by the president himself.

Cuz you spoiled it.
Also, I don't think STK1 is a real team, sounds fake to me.

This is silly. Go away, your ruined enough in your so-called career already. Let people have their fun in this league. Nobody cares about you anymore dumbfuck.

Streaming the games live while playing them is something we have chosen to allow. Simply writing results without adding a spoiler tag in a thread/stream chat where people who might not want to be spoiled hang out is more what is implied in the rules.
Example 1: trutacz streams his games in STL, this is fine; talking about results in that stream chat is also fine. Example 2: writing in the official STL thread is not ok, hence me asking you to use spoiler tags. Example 3: saying "Do we really need to watch my games I played so bad" in the official stream chat will result in a TO and a warning instantly (assuming a mod sees it, which is what I have had done once so far)

Good thing you strike down on those who spoil in the official stream chat. There have been several players who have spoken about their performance in such a way that you know the results prior to watching the game being casted.
Also, Game, there is no point in discussing Scan further. He is allowed to play, end of story. And by the way, I read your first posts and the result was obvious even though you claim otherwise. LRM still has 5 other sets you can win, perhaps you should focus on them instead.

You're right... It's only okay when SBWI staff spoil results for a game on stream. AM I RIGHT?
+ Show Spoiler +iFU vs LagFree had results spoiled by staff -> Watch the VOD if you don't believe it (Lucky they had a guy who had no other job than to put up overlays... AM I RIGHT?)
Otherwise, You're saying that we can privately messages EVERYONE the results to our games as long as they are not spoiled in the stream?
Another thing... Does it really matter if we spoil results on stream? Clearly, rules say it is forbidden, but the rules do not have any consequences included. So, basically the only other thing that applies is rule 1 claiming that SBWI rules with an iron fist... Meaning, if I were to spoil results of my games in stream chat, nothing would happen, however, you could choose to ban me because you simply don't like me... But you can choose to ban me because you don't like me regardless (as proven by the blacklisted players - Who didn't abuse in this event - Some not in any event - Though previous abusers are allowed to play). I mean, PRIORITIES right?
Oh, and one last thing, it is especially good that you keep a very detailed rule book which is nowhere to be found on teamliquid or anywhere else on the Internet, because you clearly just pulled those three rulings out of your ass... Or maybe out of iFU's playbook? I'm not sure if there is a difference to be honest. They're both up there for sure.

Hey guys, can we switch all these complaints to PMs? I think everyone would appreciate it, this thread should be about league games and possibly include links to vods. Regards

We need to get DreamHack to host an SBWI tournament soon.

Y'all need Jesus. Especially Eywa. His posts are making Game look bad because people think that's Game smurfing and he's tarnishing Game's good name on TL. I think I'm gonna be the first to say this, but I think people are picking on Game for the same reason people are picking on Rob Ford: because he's a bit overweight. Seriously, guys?
And to Eywa, you need to stop wasting time here, and get online and play me, bo9, I will get every single BroodWar caster to cast at once, stop dodging.

I thought I'll send them my annual request:
We sponsor. We organize. We do fucking eveything.
We'll see if they consider the "deal" (in sweden we call this a robbery) good enough this year. And yea, I am still a bit bitter they said quake 3 was more of an esport than BW.
