That said, Bisu was pretty doomed regardless whereas Jaedong played so well that he was able to fight his opponent while having a significant portion of his army not even fighting.

If so, it's pretty similar to the drone block in the sense that the players could have and should have taken care of it. Nothing can be done at that point except picking up with shuttle or a recall from arbiter i suppose

JvP often was out-position and out-multitask the Protoss, and relied on map control with good scourge control. But Bisu is the best vs scourge, and can match or exceed JD's multitask, which means JD doesn't get the map control he needs to know when to play greedy or not. JD is better vs someone like Stork who often masses Protoss deathballs and relies on sublime HT/Reaver control to defeat a larger Zerg army, since JD's style can whittle away the deathball while preventing reinforcements. Zero had the best style vs Bisu IMO. Mixed up all-ins, Hydras to neutralize Corsairs, and taking the game with cracklings. Tho bisu did say once that he played one of jaedongs smuffs and jaedong crushed him like 10 games or something crazy, and that he just performs badly on stage when against bisu (and by bad i just mean lose, not his play being bad)

Jaedong has never been much of a strategist, but relies on his superior execution to win games. So its logical that he would stomp Bisu when he had no idea it was Jaedong playing.
