He wants to experience new things in his life and have some time to rest before having to enlist. Statement from s2: I am so happy and so proud that I was able to be with SK Telecom for 7 years and even experience winning a championship with them. I want to thank all my fans who have cheered me on endlessly up till now, and I hope that those fans will continue to cheer on SK Telecom T1 from here on out. s2 joined SK Telecom T1 in 2007. He grabbed three victories in the 2010-2011 Proleague winners' league finals and grabbed the MVP award. He was also the captain of SK Telecom T1 during the 2011-2012 SK Planet Proleague when SK Telecom grabbed first place. s2 was an A roster Zerg player for his team and was known as the "warrior Zerg."

s2, as I remembered, was someone with very weak multitasking, but sorta made up for it w/ above average control and some pretty crafty play. Sometimes you'd see him do some pretty cool cheeses, like lair fake into hydra busting down the simcity into ling allin (god that game was glorious to watch lmao) or ZvZ really late ling allin. His ZvT was pretty horrible, but sometimes you'd get a kick out of him doing something unique, like a (failed) hydra/muta/queen bust vs mech or a horribly botched Lurker/ling/muta surround ... yea this guy wasn't very good, just really amusing/entertaining to watch hahaha

But I rooted for him in SPL as long as SKT1 was not playing Samsung Khan. I think he was the most unnoticed of the triple zerg threat from SKT1, as Soo and Hyuk had deeper SL runs. So I hope to see him in an SRT soon.

I think that was the last time Disciple was really engaged in SC1. Things kinda got hectic in the SC1/SC2 world after that.
