Only been watching ASL for the past 6 months. Saw the last 4 seasons? Decided to watch from remaster which was around season 4. Im on Season 6 now and (T)Last was so good. I searched what happeend to him and apparently he got hate for 4-0ing JD in KSL. How true is this? I see him competing alongside guys like Sharp and Snow and those guys are one of the best currently. Just wondering what the full story is.

I think his "retirement" from playing BW seriously came after his wrists just totally gave up on him, iirc.

Also people were being nasty to him. Maybe Flash fears the same thing, his return is still not overwhelmingly positive.

Theres an individual recently started streaming on twitch. This individual has repeatedly made hateful, disparaging, back-handed, passive-aggressive comments towards the "BroodWar" community, its players, fans, organizers, and streamers. The irony is he is right, because the typical broodwar streamer enjoy has been on their knees to get his attention offering tips, tricks, builds etc. You all ought to be ashamed for participating in this. FalconPaladin has been streaming BW for TEN YEARS. A list of similar great people in the commmunity goes on and on and on. It makes me physically sick to my stomach to tune in and see familiar faces falling over backwards for this streamer after he has done nothing but debase the community and inflate his own self. He instructs his moderators to permanently ban anyone who does not "toe the line". We don't need him and he isn't helpful. He just thinks he's better than everyone else. Ive reported his stream and you should too. If TBG were still here he would tear this whole situation wide open in a way that I am unable to articulate. Its sad.

Harstem has been recently playing Brood War but he's been streaming for a long time, so the "recently started streaming on Twitch" doesn't line up, though it is true that the BW community has been tuning into his streams offering advice and the like.

I watched some minutes of his BW-stream. its pretty nice to see a SC2-player trying to improve in BW and i didnt catched any bad talking about the BW community.

anyone still playing on ladder in the remastered edition or is it as dead as it seems? nobodys talking and only boring maps are being made, like no UMS at all, also no ones joining my games.. is there a new server around? did iccup come back or some shit?
