Royal won like 1/4 of his games vs snow in 2023. Light on the other hands is closer to 50/50. Light beat Mini today so he is our last hope. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Hiding a HT behind a building is a known method, but the way Snow does it is incredible. 9m 25s ingame time (6h 48m 55s in the vod) he sends a HT back to the main assimilator. 10m 0s he adjusts the positioning. 11m 30s a flock of mutas arrives and starts harassing the probe line. Snow waits for a few seconds until the mutas are exactly where he wants them to be. 11m 40s he casts a psi storm and quickly follows it up with another one. I had absolutely no idea where the HT was the first time I watched it. I even thought there might be two. The exact placement of the two canons also seems to be meant for this specific scenario. Perhaps my thoughts on the aesthetic are influenced by my being colourblind. I largely agree, good read I may repost elsewhere. Aside from the moral components I think you touched on an element that is oft-neglected in these discussions. Namely that while the overall reconfiguration is ultimately aimed at turning a profit for the Kingdom, the individual steps towards that goal are not necessarily thus. Which creates a problem for entities in these spaces who are trying to be sustainable, but in the same space as a state project which has no such concerns. Something you’ve already seen in football (soccer) with these state projects, there’s an inflationary knock-on effect on everyone else operating there. And the sums to accomplish this in eSports are pretty damn minimal in comparison. | ||

When you think about the goal of the matchmaking it makes sense that the more you win the more you win but it dramatically increases variance over a large sample size. Anyone who plays enough is always going to see +-200 swings. I myself was at 2550 at one point due to a combo of cheesing some good players and running into Sexy 3x and him leaving. Still, apparently 2400 is important to him so good for him. People celebrate all sorts of milestones and they don’t necessarily have to make any sense. You might not necessarily see the achievement in celebrating a child graduating kindergarten but you wouldn’t show up to the party and talk shit. | ||

He's deciding to just take down all of his retrocast vids to be safe. I co-cast a lot of them with him which has been fun but I understand he doesn't want his channel to get delisted. Just so baffling to me since there are SO MANY other channels uploading old BW matches... anyone have any idea why he might have gotten hit with a copyright claim by them? | ||
