So I'm not sure if this has been clarified or not, but being that Fantasy has returned and has been using smurf logs on the ladder, could it be that it was entirely him on the ladder known as the anonymous terran and not flash? Or has it been confirmed that they are both separate entities?

the only way it could be confirmed is if one of them specifically spoke out about whether the anonymous terran was themself, which hasnt happened. but theres enough evidence out there to show that the anonymous terran was flash; the biggest indicator being all the players who vsed him knew it was flash simply from the way the terran played. all the pros have their own distinct style which is easily recognisable to the other pros

No, Fantasy already confirmed the barcode qweqwe... is him. But he won't play ASL.

The other barcode has different hot key setup and apm to the Fantasy's one, so it must be Flash. Weird that he has gone offline for a while. ASL registration is imminent, let's see.

What are some really good modern day bw games to watch? Modern meaning somewhere of the last 2-3 years or so? Looking for some materials to watch with an old fan (he quit during Savior's rise) - I told him I'd find a few great games for a throwback Thurs!

Watch the ASLs, You can also get Tastetosis casts which many people like.
The seasons before 2017 were played before SC Remastered came out, but the quality is still very high.

The KSL is also a high level tournament that was going on before 2020.

Thanks for the pointers. Since you've watched a lot of those games, could you refer me to some really memorable games within that period? Preferably one the last 6 ASL's or so?

Saves me from having to watch 10 years of games to find 2-3 real bangers (& I also don't agree pre 2017 level is equal to today's level, even though that might be unfounded personal bias). I can find the games myself if you can remember any specific ones, but if you have any links they are welcome of course!

Season 15 was great, though I do prefer StarCastTV over Tastosis, since they do more in-depth BW coverage while Tastosis seems to be mostly focused on making sure all the SC2 viewers know what's going on.

That unknown terran definitely was FlaSh, his APM and gamestyle doesn't fit FanTas at all. If he doesn't qualify/attend ASL16 then I don't even know what to say. Even if it's rude: come on dude, get your head out of your ass! No one rly cares about that crypto scandal anymore.
