Probably would have been better to look up the strategy section or Liquipedia, but the answer is pretty short.
If you scout it early enough, pull 6ish probes and kill the gateway. Even if he remakes it, you'll be ahead in zealots and snowball. If you scout it late (gateway has already finished and producing a zealot, second gate almost finished), two gates and a shield battery, really good micro, pull 4-5 probes to fight (but try to save them as much as possible). If you miss it entirely until the first zealot starts attacking your stuff, you lose.
Thank you, I've started to play ladder recently, but most of the game people cheese. Atleast 70% of pvp is 2 gate proxy in the middle of the map
2 gate in your main is a pretty hard counter. You've got 2 gate in main, he's got two stupid looking gateways that he built late in the middle of the map that you will kill because you have better economy. If it's really 70%, you'll win 70% of your games for free and rank up quickly to where people stop doing that.
All I'm saying is you don't have to overthink it or try to play the most economic safe strategy you can at low levels. Try a simple solution first. If they don't do two gate proxy, then you can try to learn about how you catch up when you're behind with drops and tech and have plenty of opportunity to practice mechanics and see if you can make up the gap.
The reason so many people proxy cheese is because a lot of people think the only way to play is with a very greedy expansions, so they're just countering the meta. You have to be really good to play an economic opening and completely deflect aggressive builds.
i think a very simple explanation to why a lot of people proxy in pvp, even on 4p maps, is because they don't know what to do. if you expand and they don't, how many probes are you supposed to make? how fast are you supposed to tech? they leave these decisions to the suits in washington
Haha well said friend. Is same as Kremlin :D But good health
lol to both of you IMO it's smart, simplify the game to something that is manageable. Same reason everyone used to one base P and T for years, the game was complicated enough without two gas. No need to try to win the OSL on your first day.
Some one is to explain how BeSt break Sorry here? Like Tasteless is say, "I try this in my games and it just doesn't work out". That was 170 supply T and 190 supply P, and not very good concave, how do BeSt break him? Stasis was good but only 1. What and how? I can not do this in my games Not am saying that anything is unfair or broke just want to learn this.

Not sure if I'm right but it looks like Sorry's entire army wasn't there, and also he was only 1-0 in upgrades which matters a lot in near maxed out fights
I used to practice on this wonderful UMS map that was focused on mouse speed/accuracy, one was where you could hotkey 4 ghosts and target down zerglings (1a2a3a4a), the other one was selecting zerglings that spawned randomly, and you would move them into the center. Each mode had 5 different levels of speed/difficulty. I still have the map, but it seems to crash Remastered every time I try to load it. Anyone might have an updated version, or be able to fix it?
Is there a noob friendly place for people from TL where I could practice/play some games? I haven't played in a long time, but now that we're in a lockdown I might give it a go. :-)

Friend check Foreign Brood War Discord server. Is good. No link. Someone will give. But is good.
Damn, FlaSh is not a human, if he can beat top terran Light with his protoss, and Brain who eliminated SK with his zerg. I'm scared he's gonna 3-0 and 4-0 everyone.
