As for the "mistakes": I think he just noted down when he build stuff in that game, that's why the supply goes down at some points. It's not how he would note down the build order in general. Tbh I find it way more fun to imagine it as intentional and that Flash has calculated the optimal amount of supply to sacrifice offensively at various intervals I mean if one of the guy’s nicknames is God, may as well run with it.

I mistakenly thought you were the one who had ruined our fun then. My bad. xD

+ Show Spoiler [AoE2 VOD] + This is hands down the biggest event in AoE2, which came out in 1999 and is a spectacular game. However, they talk about how the lag factors into their interpretation of who is playing in this "hidden" cup. Can you imagine if BW was limited this way? Yes we have issues between NE USA and Korea, Europe and etc. But can you imagine lag being the determining factor in a replay when you see two people play a top level game? When we have people traveling to Korea to compete? I can't. TR, latency, whatever, I am so thankful that Brood War exists as it does right now in the form that it does.

Since Flash is a high profile streamer he probably has a better deal with Afreeca, so let's say $0.08 / balloon. Makes it a ~$1000 donation. Not bad! Yeah I was off by a digit. Probably around 1K for him is a good shout. Spon-matches -Bo3 usually go for 30 bucks right?

Do games move out of sync due to lag or something? Didn’t they re-release it for modern systems relatively recently? Seems like something you’d want to fix?

Seems like something you’d want to fix? i'm not arguing with you. aoe2 needs a sugar daddy we all agree. steam might have reduced the lag to 120ms but the player base didn't switch over. don't look at me man
