Especially if you did not play BW before, you will have no problem getting a game in <1min for while. This is just speculation, but since you are not masters in SC2 I doubt you will reach the skill level in the near future where you have to wait 5min for a game. If you would get to that point then there would still be the possibility to use a Korean VPN to get games vs Koreans at a reasonable latency.

But the amount of drama in the SC2 scene is appearantly huge. And everyone has to talk about "how they got into castíng". I would say it isnt even a SC2 focused show, but a SC2-personality focused show. So much talk about themselves, not so much about the game.

You can find out about the various ongoing and upcoming leagues, tournaments, events, patches, and more! There are currently community leaders and representatives from various places, and even Blizzard themselves there. It's a place to keep in touch and discover new communities and events. Great things are coming to StarCraft: Remastered, such as the Bot API for managing channels and tournament events and we plan to be on the forefront of this new technology. The permanent invite link is: mod edit: link removed. We would really like you to join, support the StarCraft communities, and have a good time! User was temp banned for this post.

Is there a reason you are promoting that discord community instead of the well-established foreign broodwar initiative? https://discordapp.com/invite/seZthCH

They should not pretend to, they should interact. I think, for good reasons no organisation/club/community allows publicity for rivals inside/on their own turf, unless they have a deal or don't care whether they live on anyway. You can promote on intermediate sites, but not on your rivals own website in an explicit post with no other purpose... If you're a long term contributor and you give a hint to a site that's sharing a common cause there'd be no problem. But not in the case of apparant one time exploitation of the reach TL built up over decades.
